It was a unique and fairly authentic experience. The accommodation had everything we needed, accept a knife to cut veggies for our dinner, but that was a minor inconvenience, everything else was as described.

Beautiful rural setting in Dalarna. Next to Dalälven.
Beautiful rural setting in Dalarna. Next to Dalälven. Lots of lovely places within an easy drive. You do need a car, although my daughter made it around on buses and trains. Nothing to avoid. It is all lovely.
