We loved Bojan’s camp. We were made to feel so welcome and really enjoyed meeting other bike packers who are out doing the same thing we are. We could swap stories and Bojan is a wealth of knowledge about EuroVelo 6 & EuroVelo 13 and just cycling in general. We got lots of great tips on places to stay and locations of interest to visit as we make a way north through Serbia. our accommodation at Bojan’s camp was so comfortable. Fantastic ‘glamping’ style tents, clean toilet and shower and complimentary breakfast prepared and delivered by Bojan each morning. We were able to clean our bikes, our clothes and enjoy a relaxing rest day in his beautiful and shady garden haven! Thank you for hosting us Bojan - it was an absolute pleasure!

... darkness is slowly falling on the forest road along the river towards the second dam built on the Danube named Iron Gates 2 - its' lights are visible in the night. Monumental silence, you can only hear from time to time the barking of the dogs in the dark and strange atmosphere. The GPS shows the location but only approximatly. A phone call given with hope, and a prompt answer after a few seconds: Yes, we are Dunavska Priča guesthouse, we speak English and we are waiting for you outside on the road for guidance....Mother and son, the owners of the location welcome you with SLIBOVITA and BUREK, listen to your story and take you upstairs where you have the room prepared: bedroom, bathroom and kitchen corner. In the morning, sipping the steaming coffee on the terrace, while the mist mystically rises from the Danube, you discover the magnificent surroundings near the vast and calm river: the pontoons, the small fishing houses and green forests along, in the warm light of the sun. A place like taken from a fairly-tale! When you leave, you can have another surprise: the extremly tasty Burek, with yogurt and apples from the garden in a package. Thank you with gratitude for your hospitality!

    It is a small town, but has two churches three museums to...

    It is a small town, but has two churches three museums to visit. Food is good and cheap. Surrounding nature is very beautiful. I recommend to visit two monasteries: Bukovo and Vratna. Near the Vratna monastery nature is breathtaking. There is river canyon, three big natural stone bridges and nice viewpoints. Also, there are interesting old wineries in villages Rajac and Rogljevo. Other interesting nearby locations include: river Danube, Mokranje cliffs, mountains Deli Jovan and Miroc, waterfall Blederije. From Tekija village it is possible to have river cruising with boat through the most beautiful part of the Danube canyon. Also, I recommend to climb to the viewpoint Ploce (about one hour walking from the road). The views from here to the Danube valley are astonishing.
