Location is perfect, that's just a center of the National park, and it's very convenient to explore it from Mitrovac. The kuća is cute, clean and authentic with modern and nice furniture. The bed is the most comfortable I've ever tried! The owner Goran is very friendly, we had an interesting conversation - and the serbian practice for me :) Great restaurant, a couple of mini-markets and touristic center are located near the house. Everything was excellent! Thank you!

Warm and cozy house. You should use furnace to heat the house, I like it so it wasn't problem for me, and it adds coziness for your time there. There is hiking trail nearby. The views are wonderful. Jelena was very helpful, she lives nearby and ready to help you

Our family was dreaming about small trip to Tara National park, and we were looking for a place where we can come with our dog — and Tara Land Lake is perfect one! Astonishing view and all facilities required for comfortable rest, including grill, hammok-chair, jacuzzi. All the furniture is in great condition, always enough hot water. Location is close to all beautiful places (Banska Stena 50 min drive, Janjac Vrh 30 min drive). Pets are welcome! Huge thanks to the owner's hospitality, that let us feel ourselves like at home since the first minute and spend such amazing time in mountains!!!

If you are still thinking whether you should choose this place or not - stop thinking, you should. First of all the authentic village where it’s located is so unique and beautiful - it will really bring you good image of Serbia. There are breathtaking views, thousands of stars over your head during the night, a beautiful local restaurants just by where they serve homemade juices and village cheese, just little down - a small farm where very sweet old lady lives, a sweet plum tree (don’t steal, ask!) grows. A little more down - the Lake itself. Feel free to swim. It’s beautiful. The House is way more beautiful that you would expect. You will fill all the love and hospitality in every touch those people made to deliver amazing experience to you. The smell of woods and feeling like home together makes me missing it so much after 5 days being out. They cared about literally everything there in the house 🥰 The host is very nice, thank you so much for welcoming us to your place. I really hope that all who’s reading it will experience that as we did! P.s: don’t miss the stars P.p.s: cute kittens around, take some treats pls

    Mitrovac is a small place , we can say heart of the Tara...

    Mitrovac is a small place , we can say heart of the Tara mountain. It good location for start point for hiking trails to one of the best view point in Serbia - Banjska Stena ( 9 and 9a Trail). Also you can choose trail to Zboriste one of the top point of The Tara. Also is close to the Oslusa and Sokolina where you can find nice view points. Lake Zaovine is also near Mitrovac just ahead from the Mitorvac. Nic place also for mountain biking. For family Mitrovac gives quiet place and nice field for kids game, few education trails.

    Beautiful scenery, great location with hiking trails and...

    Beautiful scenery, great location with hiking trails and lots of viewing points! When my husband and I were there beginning of September [2020], only one of the 2.5 restaurants was working, [the "half" here being what looked more like a cafe, so not sure if they had food as well] the other two were being renovated and would open after we'd left. So our only option was "Kacara Etno Restaurant", which was adequate [a bit slow on the service sometimes, even though it wasn't exactly crowded due to Covid, but the food was ok].
