Sinaia is a charming city, worth for a medium long stay. It offers history, culture, as well as great culinary experiences. Make sure you include a visit to Peles Castle. If you like hiking, walk to Poiana Stanii and have a picnic there. Take the cable car and go up, where you can admire the breathtaking landscape that lays at your feet. From the bottom to the Peles is our preferred walk in Sinaia as well as the park, the one is yet clean. All small roads around Sinaia to the hill are crowded with cars parked, a solution not appropriate for some people traveling with cars. From my opinion Sinaia is at high level of interest for tourists, with wonderful landscape and architecture, including Peles castle. The purpose of my vacation was to ski. For March, it is an ideal place. The Sinaia ski area includes about 25 ski slopes, which total over 25 km of slopes. In March, the slopes on the plateau are functional, totaling about 15 km of slopes. Sinaia is a beautiful resort town, although it can get extremely crowded during peak season. It’s definitely worth visiting, especially during the warmer months, as there are many lovely attractions such as Peleș Castle and Sinaia Monastery. Even the town center and park are charming spots to spend a relaxing day, especially with children. However, the ski area is quite disappointing, from the cable transport system to the condition of the slopes and other facilities. In conclusion, I would recommend visiting Sinaia in the warmer months rather than winter, and certainly not for winter sports.Guest review byOanaRomania - 10.0

The hotel is the former stable block of the castle and has recently been returned to "royal" ownership. We had a top floor bedroom which wasn't huge but it did the job. Ignore the sign for reception - go into the courtyard and reception is on the left. If there's no-one there, go to the bar. The staff are friendly and helpful.
