The dynamic young owner went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable; her warm hospitality and genuine enthusiasm sets this pension apart from other establishments. Spotless rooms, minimalistic but sensibly furnished; comfortable beds, immaculate bathrooms with all of the amenities one needs. A varied breakfast, perfect for starting the day, is included in the room price; it is served at the hotel's restaurant, where you can also have lunch or dinner. Free parking at the property. The hotel is attached to the han (restaurant) by the bus station. Despite that, it's very quiet. Getting breakfast is simply a matter of going to the restaurant in the morning and choosing what you want off the menu. It is a good place for an overnight stay before or after visiting the Horezi monastery. There is also and old church (Biserica Veche) a short walk away that is worth having a look at. Some of the staff speak a little bit of English, so we had no problems despite only having 3 words of Romanian between us.

A charming place where traditional architecture is beautifully preserved. Each room is spacious and thoughtfully decorated with impressive vintage touches. - Host. Owner is very nice man. He built so well organised place with brilliant value for the many place. Respect - Rooms: really nice and clean. Small but good balcony. Beds smells really good, without chemical smell. - if you need to stay with pet - best option - nice infrastructure: parking, well organised territory, restaurant, children park. - restaurant: cheap, delicious and eco friendly - private parking

The property is newly opened. I loved the attention to details, the decor, the bed and the location (walking distance from the famous Maldaresti Kulas). You feel transported to another time, but with modern facilities. The owners are very hospitable and friendly. The breakfast was also very good, with local products.

We had a great stay at this cabin. The area is peaceful, and the place offers everything you need for a relaxing time with friends. Each room has its own private bathroom, plus there's one extra bathroom and two additional toilets on the ground floor – a big plus when you're in a group, as there's no fighting over bathrooms. The rooms have TVs, and there's a large TV in the living room, perfect for spending time together. Everything was clean, the host was very friendly and welcoming, and there were no issues with hot water. The cabin also has a barbecue, enough space for socializing, and plenty of parking spots. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a quiet little place in a mountain village, La Temelie is the perfect choice. If you want a key spot for your mountain walks - easy or difficult routes - you can make your reservation today. The natural park Buila Vanturarița is near by. If you want to check the historical and religious heritage of the area (Oltenia Higherland), La Temelie is also a good solution. Monasteries like Bistrița, Arnota, Pătrunsa or Iezer are not far away. To be clear: the place is simple. Nothing sparkling, theoretically not even breakfast. In fact, a lot of kind surprises. The photos into the Booking presentation are not only real, the place looks even better. It must be the mountains, the crisp air or the owners :-) These two people are God's bread and butter/ sarea pămantului/ paine caldă.
