Hotel Castelnor exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot into the lobby, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff who ensured my check-in process was seamless. The hotel itself was a true gem, combining modern elegance with a cozy mountain lodge atmosphere. The rooms were tastefully decorated, providing a cozy sanctuary to unwind after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. Every detail had been carefully considered to create a tranquil and comfortable environment. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's amazing spa. Situated amidst the serene mountainous landscape, the spa offered a range of luxurious facilities that left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, like indoor and outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, wet and dry sauna and more other. The spa's tranquil ambiance truly added to the overall experience, allowing me to unwind and escape from the stresses of everyday life. The dining options at the hotel were equally impressive. The restaurant served a variety of delectable dishes, prepared with the highest quality ingredients. The menu showcased both local and international cuisine, providing a culinary experience that satisfied even the most discerning palate. Additionally, the attentive and friendly staff made dining an absolute pleasure, ensuring my needs were met and providing excellent recommendations. The hotel's location on Paltinis Mountain was truly idyllic. Overall, my stay at this 4-star hotel on Paltinis Mountain with its incredible spa was a truly unforgettable experience. The combination of impeccable service, luxurious amenities, and stunning natural surroundings created a haven of relaxation and indulgence. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a perfect blend of mountain adventure and pampering retreat.

The location and room were very clean. The double room with balcony wasn't very large, but enough for 2 adults with a small child. The staff was very polite and food was delicious. The restaurant has a great view over the mountains.

Location - close to ski slope, you can walk. Parking - on the property. Room - not big, not small, enought place to move. Large balcony. New decent furniture. Most important - bed. Good quality matress, healty( for ppl with back pains). Impressed by the winter decorations- nice touch. Breakfast - included - enought options, good. Dinner- nice options. Restaurant - pleasant. We had the first snow of the year. All the cars under a lot of snow. Personelle mobilised to help with the snow big time. They've done 90% of the work. Special note - mr Radu at reception, bar, restaurant & parking. Who has not one should buy one.

First of all, the owners are 10/10! They were very friendly, helpful and kind (and we were not ‘easy’ guests 😅). Then, everything else: good location, clean, comfy, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, Netflix 😂 Ah, and the greatest thing is they accept pets! We came with 2 of our dogs.

    I do not sky so I cannot say anything about this :) About Paltinis, they (as in the leaders of the city/comune etc.) should do more for it. The road to Platinis is great (quality but also the road itseld), the surroundings are absolute gorgeous (mountains, "alpine" plains ...), the other cities around it are also great and full of things to visit ... so indeed is a great place to visit !

    I love Paltinis!

    I love Paltinis! It s the place me and my family learnt to ski 10 years ago, but we all return here with pleasure and joy. The air here is fantastic, clean and pure, the locals are great people always willing to help when need, the food is very tasty, the mountains do make me proud I m Romanian!

    The location, staff, cleanliness, everything was great. It’s a quiet getaway from the city, with fresh air and everything you could possibly want from a guesthouse. The kitchen has everything that you could need, there’s a fireplace ready outside. Two of them, actually. There’s also two friendly dogs and a very cuddly and communicative cat. Daniel was also extremely helpful, including getting us a lift from Sibiu to Paltinis when we arrived. Highly recommend.

    Excellent location, peaceful and quiet. Paltinis seems to be quite empty in the summer which seems a bit weird for such a nice location. The hotel is for sure the best in the area. The room was large, with all necessary amenities and a balcony with a fantastic view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, while not extremely varied, was very good. The chef makes one mean omelet, full marks for that.

    The service can be easily compared with the 5 star hotels i've visited. Everything sparkling clean and quiet everywhere. They even gave me a sampagne as it was my birthday and also plotted with my sister-in-law for a cake delivery with this ocasion. The outside poll warm and clean. The saunas very clean.
