The room was spotless and spacious, and we had a cozy little balcony. The two ladies at reception were so friendly and professional. The free parking was also much appreciated. Overall, everything was excellent!

The hotel is beautifully designed, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. The room was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette is well equipped, and there are a few minimarkets in the close vicinity. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel, close to Grozavesti metro station. Staff very helpful, good restaurant, clean and quite big rooms. They have a free underground garage with direct access into the hotel. It's a place we are sure to choose again whenever we will be in Bucharest.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bed is very comfortable and I've always slept well when staying here. It's located near the main station (Gara de Nord) but that noise won't bother you. I haven't met the staff as I typically arrive late but when I have a very early travel the next day, this is definitely my go-to stay in Bucharest.

FAQs about hotels in Bucharest

Where Modern Meets Old

A fascinating mix of old and new, Bucharest is one of those cities where you can find a futuristic structure of glass and steel next to an old church, separated by a Communist-style massive edifice. Not overwhelmed by its dark past, the city is now turning its optimistic face towards the West.

Undergoing constant modernisation processes, the city continually changes and new modern structures pop up in the city centre and beyond. Great examples are the stunning Basarab Bridge, Europe’s widest cable-stayed bridge, and the City Gate Towers.

Whilst admiring the new, don’t miss out on the old classics, like the Parliament Palace, the world’s second largest building, with over 3100 rooms and impressive marble interiors covering 330,000 m². Make sure you admire the view from Nicolae Ceauşescu's balcony!

To fully appreciate the city’s long history, from Vlad the Impaler (aka Dracula) to the ’89 revolution, the city offers free guided walking tours, giving you a great opportunity to discover all the city’s secrets. And spot all the best shopping venues!

Before you land at Bucharest Airport, just 18 km from the city centre, make sure you check what Booking.com has to offer: from hotels to apartments, just a few clicks away!

Bucharest used to be a very nice city -- great architecture, calm surroundings, nice people. Not any more. The decay it has sustained is unbelievable. So many historical buildings are completely neglected, that many areas look like they've been through a war. This started during Covid and hasn't stopped since. Even the buildings that are in use are covered with graffiti; studies have shown that people tend to maintain cleanliness if an area is clean and that they litter and vandalize if they see garbage and dirt around them. Cleaning the graffiti wouldn't be very expensive, and it would bring enormous benefits. On the other hand, a lot of areas are hell-on-earth because of incessant "construction", although no real improvement results from it. Bucharest is turning into a third-world place.

    I love Bucharest!

I love Bucharest! This was the third time i visited, a bit more expensive this time though. We stayed in the heart of the Old Town where all the historical monuments, restaurants, pubs, minimarket were 5 minutes walking from the Apartment we booked. We used Bolt for our distant transfers like The Mall Afi Cotroceni, Airport, Hard Rock Cafe, the beautiful lake around as well as the historical monuments. I would definitely come back sometime for a fourth time!!

We spent two weeks in Romania and Bucharest was interesting to visit - we spent a lot of time in Old Town and also went to the Museum of Communism. It's a great city, but takes quite a lot of time to get around from neighborhood to neighborhood so bear that in mind when chosing where to stay. Food was great, lots of variety of amazing Romanian and non-Romanian cuisine. We enjoyed overall, but also make sure to check out other parts of the country.

Bucharest is a dirty city with not so much things to do.Traffic is non stop and horrible, the air is stinking and the temperature is over 43 degrees in the summer. Prices are low but same the quality of the products. Old town is overrated ,be aware when you arrive there. Bucharest is not o top 10 city’s to be visited in Europe.

    City of contrast.

City of contrast. A lot to do as a traveler -nice museums, parks, cuisine (remember to ask for the lunch menu in cu bere) and a lot of things happening in Romania. The free tour from walkabout tours was great. Public transportation is decent, cheap and you can get by just using mobile phone or credit card. It is great to be in a country where things are actually getting better.

It is very hot in summer, so maybe better to visit in September when it is a bit cooler. Be aware of the taxi drivers who can be very expensive. Great to walk around the streets with so many beautiful buildings. The Old Town was very good and would recommend the Communist Museum.

Probably the best accommodation that I stayed at in Bucharest. The flat looks brand new, with amazing design and extremely clean. Looks better than a 5 star hotel. The host was extremely helpful and the location is fantastic if you want to be in the city centre. I reccomend this place!

The hotel has an ideal location in Bucharest city centre on the main street of the XIX century part of the city. It is close to many monuments, restaurants and bars. The old city is easily reachable by metro, which is close by, or by walking less than half a hour.
