Quinta da Coitada is a beautiful, newly and tastefully furnished house surrounded by vineyard. The location of house is very peaceful and it is perfect for recreation. There is also a beautiful view of the Douro River valley from the house terrace. Paulo and his family are very kind hosts. Every morning, Paulo brought a rich breakfast to the house, which was very nice. They also gave you recommendations what to visit in Douro valley. Because Paulo is a winemaker, so you have a selection of excellent wines from him available in the house.

The hotel is amazing! The rooms are beautiful and pampering. The views are breathtaking. The food served in the hotel's restaurant is very good and the service is great. We enjoyed a walk in the vineyards, using the audio-guide provided at the hotel and wine tasting activity which was also very interesting. Take into consideration that once you get to the hotel, you wouldn't want to leave, so plan your tour of this beautiful area, before or after arrival to the hotel

Dinner and breakfast excellent. finish and quality of property first rate and a tribute to Christina and Antonio who, together with their son Eduardo, make excellent hosts. Only booked one night but would have stayed longer if itinary allowed. Plenty of free parking around as hotel is part of a small village. I classified location as good only because access roads are fairly precipitous. Otherwise location is superb. Eduardo provided transport to a local quinta for a visit and tasting at no extra cost. A true family business who cares!

The LBV house hotel is spacious, clean, quiet and has a beautiful view of the surrounding area, especially from the pool area. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was strong to provide immediate relief from the August heat. The staff were so kind and friendly and made us feel right at home. We could walk about 15 minutes to a nice dinner place and our tour of Quinta Bomfin. At night we felt less comfortable walking back since it was very dark, but otherwise everything was perfect!

Everything was absolutely fabulous. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The linen and towels were excellent. The location is great, being a short walk from the station. The hosts were wonderful in communicating and accommodating our request to check-in earlier. The use of a key box made it really easy to check in. The apartment was very well-stocked with coffee, tea, and even jams and rolls! It was wonderful to arrive and find so much available! The evenings got cooler and the heater and TV in each room made it very cozy and comfortable! Parking was easy to find on the public road though like all older villages, we had to walk up a narrow alley with steps to get or the apartment so it might be less accessible for those who have trouble carrying luggage up a hill. The location was fabulous for walking around the village and seeing the vineyards.
