This is a cute, comfortable, well-remodeled home in a convenient part of Sao Miguel. We stayed as a family of 4, and my daughter said it was her favorite stay ever. The outdoor garden and showers are a nice touch coming back from the nearby beach. The host Ines is a wonderful person and was so helpful, she gave us directions, fresh bananas from her tree, and even helped get us an item we had left behind!

A lovely apartment, well equipped, spacious, good location, the bus stop to PD just around the corner (lines 311,312,313 one ticket 1.4 Eur...) We had a nice stay in Sao Roque...I recommend the apartment...

Very nice apartment. There was everything you need. From such small things, but worth mentioning, there is an electric heater. In previous apartments in the Azores I did not have this, and it helps a lot to dry laundry. There are also umbrellas in the equipment, I planned to buy one on site for a week's stay, but I did not have to, because I could use the ones I had in the apartment. The apartment is generally clean and quiet, despite the highway nearby. I read about some inconveniences in the opinions, but I did not experience any of them, a big plus for the staff for reacting to the guests' observations and fixing bad things. The bedroom is very quiet and well-darkened, which I appreciate very much in terms of taking care of sleep. Fast, impeccable Internet. The apartment is in a great location, next to the only good beach in Ponta Delgada and a quick trip to the main route on Sao Miguel.

Large and spacious room, beautiful comfortable bathroom. The room is equipped with a coffee machine and 3 capsules per day. The location of the hotel is central. The breakfast is excellent and varied. In the evening you can sit in the lobby and listen to a different player play the piano, saxophone or guitar every day. For a hotel parking that costs 12 euros per day, they will let you park on a nearby street at a cost of half a euro per hour, this is better because most of the day you travel the island by car.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lusitano Garden Villas. The place is calm, clean, and very comfortable, and the location is perfect only 5 minutes from the airport, Romeu was super helpful and friendly, always giving me great tips about visiting places. I also loved the horse riding experience, which was unforgettable, The owner João is very kind, always around, and clearly cares a lot about the place. Highly recommended!

It was a very enjoyable stay.

It was a very enjoyable stay. From the first day of arrival to the last day. Location is great to be in between of a sandy beach in a walking distance from the apartment and Ponta Delgada in opposite direction along the ocean coast. Apartments with a picturesque view on the ocean with 4 bedrooms (2 of them with a balcony on a ocean side), fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms on a separate floors. Communication with hosts was very good. Helped us a little bit on arrival with instructions how to enter the apartment and provided us with many helpful information including weather conditions and ordered the taxi to airport early in the morning. Helped us to explore the island connecting us with local tourist company. One day trip to famous local points of interests with Ivo was very pleasant and informative. In one word Highly Recommended!

The location was great, close to the beach and restaurants.

The location was great, close to the beach and restaurants. Having a private car park was ideal as we were always assured of a safe parking spot no matter what time we came home. Ryan was very quick to respond to all of our questions and very helpful. We would recommend having the guest info book easily accessible to guests.

It is a place where new and beautiful buildings and places...

It is a place where new and beautiful buildings and places are alternating the old and not that well maintained. You can stay there for quite a long time but it is definitely recommended to have a vehicle to explore the surroundings.

The property at first view appears nice but has a serious problem with black mold, sewer flies, ants and cocoarches. I was born in this home and excited to be back there after 30 years, but spent most of my time sick, the location is horrible, you can't sleep at night due to the neighboring dogs barking and the next door neighbors start construction early in the morning with no regard for anyone. I was so excited to bring my husband to my first home and my country after so long and he spent most of his time caring for me. It was the worst "vacation" I had.
