Its a lovely small coastal town, but parking is a massive problem, with many people parking on the pedestrian path, and yellow lines. If I was visiting for the day, I would have gone elsewhere, but as a guest staying for 3 days, we spent many hours trying to park legally. What we like is, that it was just ca 550m far away from center, beach, shop and restaurants, however !!beware!! also +100 meters high, with stairs you don't need to go by the road and us takes it about 8 minutes. The interior was modern and spotless with all amenities thought of. The check in and out was brilliant, we were met by Sidonia from ‘A Home in Madeira’. During our stay we also met the owner who was very pleased to meet with us. The hot tub and BBQ area was a fantastic bonus.
