We were welcomed amazingly by Marta who then looked after us very nicely throughout our stay. Quinta da Chamine is calm, beautiful, friendly, clean. Lovely outdoor seating areas and large communal sitting room, nicely designed interiors, very comfortable beds, great views, lovely staff. Delicious breakfast and attentive staff. Me and my boyfriend were travelling by bike and they even allowed us to leave our bikes in a locked space.

Stayed one night, wished I had booked a week! First time in years I experienced the feeling of being totally relaxed/chilled. Evening meal and breakfast totally amazing. Ideal stopover between Lisbon and Faro. 1000% recommend.

Lovely hotel inside a castle! Gardens are beautiful. Breakfast was good. Staff exemplary! Nice little bar in the square just steps from the hotel.

Nice spacious appartement, very nice interior, fully equipped, everything very clean, towels soft and well- smelling. Even more, there was - besides local cookies for us - salt, sogar, oil, pepper, Nescafé and milk provided fir the first breakfast. Quiet village with nice taverns ( O Besugo preferred).

Owner was very nice as well as the employees! We could do an early check in and late check out. Loved our room that had swimming pool view. The design and decor of the place was simply stunning, and the bed in the room was excellent - we slept so good! Breakfast was also great. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Optimal time there would be a weekend.

Very good communication from the host, and he allowed us to have breakfast early, which was great as we were on our bikes wanting to leave earlier. Would recommend!

We loved the place! We were a family group of 9 and stayed over to attend a wedding nearby. The host, Stéphane was superb and so was the all experience. The place is beautifully kept, the rooms had very good linen and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely in our list of come back places.
