What a magical place. You enter a hideaway from the world, no sign at the entrance gate, you just slip in and away. Check-in was great, we loved taking the bikes to explore the site, the pine trees, the buildings fitting right into the nature, everything so relaxing. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, but the breakfast was amazing.

Hotel da Barrosinha is situated on the edge of the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve, just 2 km from Alcácer do Sal.

Everything, beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful decor, tasty breakfast food, they have their own restaurant, my husband and I did not know what meat to choose we went to the chef and he showed us the cuts and what they consisted of, and we had the most amazing meal, at such an amazing price. Lastly, I was so amazed as it was wheel chair friendly, the all building, with access to the pool on a wheel chair!!! Well done!!!! “Hat off!” Thank you!!!

I LOVED my experience at AlmaLusa Comporta. The upgrade to the suite was a very pleasant surprise. The best part of AlmaLusa Comporta was the fact that they had the loveliest and most passionate staff and services. Also, the facilities are very new (they opened 17 nov 2022) so i have no complaints about the facility. If there is one place to stay at when you are visiting the South from Lisbon, do drop by AlmaLusa Comporta. We arrived at about 3am in the morning due to delays on the road and the staff really did his best to make us feel welcomed and assisted us with a pleasant smile. Honestly, that made us feel a lot better after a long and tired drive. Also, our breakfast experience was amazing - the food were fresh and tasty. Compliments to the staff (Daniella and the breakfast folks) for always trying hard to make sure they are able to perfect a soft boil egg :) We will definitely be back.
