The hotel is ideally placed in the centre of Arganil. It's not 5 star but the staff were excellent and the room perfectly presented every day. This is a lovely part of Portugal with the mountains close by. I would recommend this hotel.

You will stay in beautifully appointed accommodation with views to die for and a hostess that has anticipated anything you would need during your stay. An exceptional experience at this eagles nest hovering in the clouds of Arganil. The owner is one of the most genuine and kindest hosts that we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble and we shall surely return.

Sofia and Andre are the perfect ones in receiving. They make us feel like family, A very beautiful cabin is the perfect place to stay for a couple looking for peace and quiet, with chickens, sheep and doggies. Fresh air, silence (very good for regaining strength, body and mental) and a phenomenal starry sky. Breakfast impeccable ( very very good ) and impeccable cleaning.

The location was just perfect for what we wanted. It was close to the attractions in the area we had planned to visit and the village was nice to walk around. The accommodation has a small shop and restaurant that is also used by the local community as well. We found this a bonus as it enabled us to feel a little like we were immersed in their village life.
