The location is amazing, the room I stayed in was large and beautiful, very clean and the staff (Marta and mum) were the most helpful people you could wish to meet! One of the most hospitable and accommodating hotels I’ve ever stayed at. We arrived early, were offered towels and drinks by the pool and our room was ready for us just 30 min later. Beautiful house in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by trees. Very spacious, looks better than the pictures. The pool area is amazing. Luis the handyman was very helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed my long stay at Alegria Rustica, Anna and Mark were such lovely hosts and really made me feel welcome and ensured I was always happy and comfortable during my stay. The breakfasts were great and filling, lots of organic items like fruit and eggs included from their own garden as well. A great place to visit for some peace and quiet outside the major cities where you can really enjoy the great summer weather and explore the beautiful nature that can be found in central Portugal. There are some great hikes in the area.
