Fantastic location, hosts, breakfast. Very comfortable beds and large spacious room. Had a heat pump and very warm with great views. Parking easy outside the guest house. Great with a baby from high chair, toys, considered at meals (baby friendly options), and great cot with linen. Highly recommend adding on the dinner, was exceptional. Hosts are fantastic with lots of recommendations and very friendly. Our baby loved playing at the guest house with them. Perfect stay and can’t recommend enough.

A stunning location with beautiful views all around! The property is immaculately maintained, lovely tall cypress trees line the outdoor areas with views of the vineyards & river beyond. Very comfortable rooms, wonderful interiors. Many options for sitting outdoors, including a pool. The restaurant offers delicious breakfast and dinner, excellent service! We tried many of the wines both from Quinta Nova as well as the Dao winery - superb 👌

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are ultra modern and clean. We had the 3 course meal - absolutely amazing and such good value for money with the wine pairing too. The welcome drink was a lovely touch. I can’t rate this hotel highly enough for a chill out break with fabulous food at a great price!

Everything was absolutely fabulous. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The linen and towels were excellent. The location is great, being a short walk from the station. We had a wonderful experience at Casa do Santo for our 2 night stay. Maria was very hospitable, helpful, and knowledgable. The views of the Douro valley are beautiful. The small, quaint village is a quick drive to the Douro river with amazing views of the hillside vineyards. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we return to this area.
