Puro Hotel is by far the most wonderful place I’ve ever stayed. Every detail radiates perfection – the design is inspiring, the rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the whole atmosphere is beautiful and thoughtfully curated. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, and the food is simply divine. My time here felt like a dream. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for something truly special.

FAQs about hotels in Warsaw

Always on the Move

A city on the move, Warsaw is constantly changing in an effort to rebuild what was lost during World War Two. There’s no better example of this than the stunning Old Town Square, where pastel facades sit alongside dome-topped spires.

Starting here is the Royal Route which passes several historic buildings on its way out to Wilanów, where an ornate Royal Palace is set in a huge park that was the retreat of kings since the 17th century. Just as grandiose is the Palace of Culture and Science, Stalin’s gift to Warsaw that still manages to evoke feelings of hatred and love in equal measure. Go up to the terrace for panoramic city views.

Other cultural offerings are the Warsaw Uprising Museum, considered the best museum in Poland, and traditional bars that still serve down-to-earth food washed down with a shot of vodka - a throwback to the Communist era. Don’t expect to find a seat though – there aren’t any.

Warsaw also has a thriving club scene and more shopping centres than you could throw a stick at. Not that you’d want to, as you’ll be too busy picking up the bargains.

Just outside the city is Warsaw Airport, efficiently linked by public transport to the city’s hotels, guest houses and hostels, available on Booking.com.

Amazing place, well worth a visit.

Amazing place, well worth a visit. If this is your first trip to Poland, I would suggest Krakow as your first port of call, then Warsaw. As a tourist guide stated, and I agree, Krakow is more visually pleasing but Warsaw has a more indepth history which you don't always get unless you know a bit about the history of the place.

Being an expat visiting his birthplace my views are biased towards its history , culture , hospitality and food and will never change. Disappointing aspect are some mainly Ukrainian taxi drivers who don't speak Polish or any others languages and who don't know their way around Warsaw and cause unnecessary anxiety for their passengers.

Overall, cafe /bars / reasturants and senic cultural buildings / museums etc all good. Fair prices for food and drink. Large shopping centre near where we were with 3 floors of designer shops. Very hustle bustle and would compare to London as a similar Capital City. Don't expect many people to share daily conversation with you due to the style of City Life, people are self insular. An experience for us and our grandaughter and we would describe this overall as SEEN, BEEN & DONE IT, but wouldn't rush to go back. OK if you like City style living.

Warszawa is a great city with much history and much sightseeing to do. You should definitely see the old town and the royal gardens. You should also definitely walk parallel to the Vistula river that runs across the city, there are a lot of interesting points to see and it's pretty quiet and nice. Also would recommend to see the palace on the isle (Pałac na Wyspie) and walk around the park that is around it. There are also many traditional restaurants like Gospoda pod Zygmuntem which I have personally tried and Pyzi, Flaki Gorące. The transportation is pretty easy with the metro and with taxis (taxis are pretty cheap here averaging a price of about 10 euros for an average 10-20 min ride in the city). Buses are a bit more difficult to use consistently because they don't go in every part of the coty so you might make 50 mins to get somewhere by bus that would take you 15 mins by taxi. All of the public transportation methods require a ticket which you can get from the machines in the bus stops and even from inside the buses. Would recommend the daily ticket for about 6-7 euros. Definitely would recommend as an eastern european country overall.

The places are lovely, the people can speak English and are very helpful. The center city is well connected by the bus and tram network, so ot is easy to get to different parts of Warsaw. For the travellers who want to prepare the meals individually, Biedronka shop is perfect. In my opinion, everyone should visit Warsaw once in life: it is a historic and cultural experience.

Warsaw is good to visit for short time max. 3 nights as it can cover the most of historical places in this period of time specially the old town and the museums which all around each other, also can be visited for shopping with a variety of shopping malls in city.

A lovely hotel with helpful staff in a great location to explore Warsaw. We only stayed one night at the end of our week in Poland and we wished we’d stay longer. Fabulous pool view, it did get quite busy but that’s to be expected. We had a high floor room with great views. Breakfast was very busy but well staffed and the buffet choices were excellent, something for all nationalities and dietary preferences. It was tasty and I’d stay here again just for the breakfast.

It is IBIS so no surprise there: small room but nice, cosy, and clean. Comfortable bed. Good sleep. Good breakfast. Awesome staff Room wasn't big as respected in IBIS but it had what I needed for a few nights' stay. Will definitely stay again when in the area. However the location of the hotel is a great: right next to a tram and bus stations that lead to the city centre and old town, and also a grocery store just next to it. Totally recommend it for a stay in Warsaw!

The location in the old town was great and the rooms for a classic double were big and airy. The pool area was relaxing and complimentary water bottles a nice touch. A quiet hotel which suited our needs… not sure facilities warranted 5 stars.
