    Our favorite overnight stop over on the way to Sorsogon. Malls, groceries and the Mayon activities are just what we always wanted. Internet and banks are almost anywhere, if there is a need of emergency business needs.

    Skyline is one great place to go to see Mt.

    Skyline is one great place to go to see Mt. Mayon but unfortunately it was raining hard when we got up there, the volcano is not visible. Sumlang lake is a good place to go as the volcano is it’s backdrop. There’s a lot of big malls if you’re into shopping. Restaurants and hospitals abound in every location. Transportation is no problem at all as you can call cabs via phone or online. Public jeepneys can get you from point A to point B.

    Check the weather map so that you increase your chances of getting a full view of Mayon Volcano. Do consider booking properties outside Legaspi (Daraga) The tourists attractions are all near Daraga. (less traffic), however all the nice places to eat are in Legaspi.

    The vibe is really laid back so we were able to relax.

    The vibe is really laid back so we were able to relax. Guests should be equipped to deal with the weather. The Mayon can be viewed everywhere! Try the Hoyop hoyopan cave, and their spicy pinangat. Pasalubong are abaca bags, sili keychains, pili nut near the old riles (train tracks).

    The kids loved our stay in this hotel. It’s the newest place in Legazpi & they have 2 in-house restaurant (GF) and a bar on the top floor. Front desk staff were all attentive to our needs & went beyond our expectations. They were welcoming & very courteous from wait staff, housekeeping & reception staff. Would highly recommend this place to all balikbayans who plan to spend a week ot two in Albay province.

    Balai Tinay is just perfect for my family. I have chosen Balai Tinay because the price is fairly reasonable considering there were 10 of us in the group! Our hosts were very gracious and accommodating. There were ample parking for our cars. I will definitely be back to Balai Tinay next time I fly to Legazpi! :)

    - The standard rooms are a bit small, but they're cozy and super clean. I really slept well. - Breakfast buffet is also good. Hotel also has a restaurant - loved their laing and pinangat. - Polite and attentive staff - Hotel is walking distance to SM, Super Metro, and Ayala.
