Beautiful hotel on a quiet road away from the noise. Room was spacious and had a large comfortable bed. The bathroom facilities were great and everything worked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and helpful and their smiles always brightened up our day, very professional. The restaurant, which we used for breakfast and also dinner is very classy. The food was outstanding. Try their Bicol express, very delicious! Hired a motorbike on our second day and they have a side parking area with a locked gate, very secure. Good location, 3 min walk to Jolibee and nearby supermarkets.

    Our favorite overnight stop over on the way to Sorsogon. Malls, groceries and the Mayon activities are just what we always wanted. Internet and banks are almost anywhere, if there is a need of emergency business needs.

    Skyline is one great place to go to see Mt.

    Skyline is one great place to go to see Mt. Mayon but unfortunately it was raining hard when we got up there, the volcano is not visible. Sumlang lake is a good place to go as the volcano is it’s backdrop. There’s a lot of big malls if you’re into shopping. Restaurants and hospitals abound in every location. Transportation is no problem at all as you can call cabs via phone or online. Public jeepneys can get you from point A to point B.

    Check the weather map so that you increase your chances of getting a full view of Mayon Volcano. Do consider booking properties outside Legaspi (Daraga) The tourists attractions are all near Daraga. (less traffic), however all the nice places to eat are in Legaspi.

    The vibe is really laid back so we were able to relax.

    The vibe is really laid back so we were able to relax. Guests should be equipped to deal with the weather. The Mayon can be viewed everywhere! Try the Hoyop hoyopan cave, and their spicy pinangat. Pasalubong are abaca bags, sili keychains, pili nut near the old riles (train tracks).

    The lovely host kindly upgraded my room at no extra cost. She was very understanding about my concern and addressed it as soon as she could. The Guesthouse was beautiful! A nice family business. And was close to everything. Said host was lovely, very friendly and accommodating. Netflix was a nice touch! This was a 2 star accommodation. It was FAR better than some 3 star hotels I have stayed in!!!!

    Areca is a new Hotel in the center of Legazpi City Old Albay district. We booked the suite which is very spacious and has a separate bed room. The room was clean and well equiped with a big bathroom. The restaurant within the hotel had good food. And the coffee shop / bar in the same building is conveniently located for a nightcap. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall an enjoyable stay.

    Elizabeth and Martin are fantastic hosts and helped us with our itinerary of things to do around Legazpi including our quad bike experience on Mayon and how to get around the area on local transport. Also arranging our car hire for 6 days to explore the wider region. Room was comfortable as described. We enjoyed our 2 nights so much we have booked in for a further night on our return.
