I love the phillipines been married to my fillipina wife for 15 years now! But in my honest opinion I prefer the province over the city. The city is too crowded, busy bad traffic and a lot people wanting more money and overcharging for everything especially if they see a foreigner. There is only a handful of honest hard working peope if you're lucky!! The real beauty of the phillipines in the provinces. Another tip Always ask around about tour prices In the cabs there's always someone cheaper!! And the best thing to do in cebu is canyonering at kawasan Falls it is worth it.
