We had a perfect stay in Casa Morada. The house is new. The room was big and comfortable, Very clean. Hot water. Comfortable bed. The host was always very nice and gave us great suggestions for hike and restaurants. Very well located in the city. The windows had no mosquitoes net, the host said he could install it (they are removable) but it wasn't needed, we had no problem with mosquitoes (in August)

The host Naudi is very friendly and makes a lot of effort. Always ready to help and provided a lot of Information about activities/hikes closeby. The room has air condition, the bathroom is simply furnished but clean.

    The area is small and pretty.

    The area is small and pretty. Friendly people but the towns people have been barraged with too many tourists. There was a lot to do if you like hiking and looking at waterfalls. We didn't have the time.

    El Valle is really green with lots of gardens and flowers unfortunately it was still the rainy season so some of the hikes were not a good idea to hike alone The local craft beer pub restaurant was fantastic and so was the Italian restaurant in the centre of town

    A huge plus point is the location, just a short walk from the greatest concentration of facilities along the El Valle main road. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The staff are charming. In particular, I had quite a lot of dealings with Oriel and he was extremely friendly and helpful, at one point spending a couple of hours fixing a problem I had accidentally created. I want to spend a bit more time in El Valle so I will be definitiely be going back to stay here again.

    On arrival, we were told that we could not use our requested accommodation (at Hostel Lopez El Valle) because there was no electricity. The alternative arrangements made by the owner (a detached house) was sufficient to meet our needs on location and comfort, etc; and possibly at additional cost to them. But we had needs that were not met, unfortunately - see below.

    Lovely helpful staff, breakfast was always delicious and different everyday. The kitchen was really well stocked with kitchenware and also spices, oil etc. which was great for cooking. The space is lovely, chilling in the hammock after a morning of hiking was the dream. The location was great too. Would 100% stay again if I was back in el valle.
