Very special accommodation awaited us here, namely the Koofan Heritage House. This is a 150-year-old clay and stone house that has been carefully restored by the owner family. In the individual rooms, you will find numerous original artefacts and pieces of furniture belonging to the family from earlier times, which are beautifully displayed here. The house has 12 individually furnished rooms, a small souvenir shop, a café, a tour desk and a small museum. But the whole house is actually a kind of "open-air museum". While most visitors only come for the museum (admission 1 rial), we definitely recommend at least one overnight stay. A small, traditional breakfast is served in the morning. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to provide guests with an exceptional experience. The accommodation is just 25 minutes from Wadi Darbat and only 5 minutes from the sea. We had a marvellous stay at Souly Lodge and can’t wait for our next visit already! - The room: it was large with plenty of storage and the bed was very comfy. It had a rustic feel and we loved the outdoor shower. An efficient working air con system, which is welcomed in the hotter months. - Customer service: All the staff were so friendly, helpful and hardworking. Our room was cleaned everyday with towels and any soaps being replaced, as well as a bottle of water. The restaurant staff always served us with a smile and went the extra mile. - Restaurant: We loved the food on the main menu, particularly the seafood, which the chefs cooked perfect every time. The food was great value and the coffees/drinks options were plentiful - note there is no alcohol, but you can bring your own to have on your terrace. We enjoyed the morning breakfasts, with the omelettes and french toast being the highlights. - Beach: Absolutely stunning. The water was crystal clear, there were enough loungers and shaded areas for all the guests, and with plenty of privacy. It was a very peaceful beach and if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday, this is the best place to be. - Extra amenities: There was a pool table and table tennis, which we enjoyed using when we wanted to escape the sun. The lodge also hosted some Arabian nights that included a buffet, musicians, tea and dancing. Please note that for leaving a tip for all the staff, they only take cash. We absolutely loved our stay and it’s the most relaxed we’ve felt after leaving a holiday destination. Definitely recommend to all!

There were dolphins in front of the apartment every morning (February). We loved the communication with the owner. She is very helpful and super fast in responding. I can highly recommend this appartment:-)

The owner is very cooperative and answers calls anytime for any needs.

Everything was perfect. What we enjoyed the most was the friendliness of the staff. They always greeted us und helped if it was necessary. We would like to mention two persons especially: Rasha on the frond desk. She is such a warmhearted and friendly person. We felt so well with her! And also the man who cleaned our room, Murad. He was always helpful and so friendly. We felt so well in this hotel.

That was truly one of the best villas I’ve ever stayed in, from the stunning private pool to the beautifully designed interiors, everything was exceptional. A special thanks to our incredible host, Mr. Hussam, who went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. His hospitality exceeded all expectations!
