This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids. The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful. There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry. We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

An amazing experience in this camp owned by Sayid and his family. We had a wonderful welcome, kids enjoyed different activities as camel ride and sledding on the dunes. The camp is located high on the dunes, view and sunset are amazing. The tents have really comfortable beds. I would recommend this camp if you are looking for an authentic Omani desert experience. It was really hard to say goodbye.

The camp consists of different types of lodgings: 3 tents on the sand, tents on poles and houses. Each with its own bathroom. We slept in tents on the sand. The host Le Oy (apologies for misspelling) was wonderful. He picked us up in the neighboring village, deflated the tires of our 4WD and led the way through the desert to the camp. This was great fun. I got stuck in the sand and he showed me how to free the car. Diner is with all the guests in an airco-d room. Buffet. Excellent food. After diner campfire under the stars. The next day we saw the sunrise and went duneboarding and camelriding. Le Oy had made a cultural program for us. We visited a Bedouin tent where we drank traditional coffee. All in all it was an amazing experience. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I definitely recommend Layali camp.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel completely at home in the heart of the Omani desert. Every detail is thoughtfully arranged, creating an experience that is both relaxing and unique. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible host, Mohammed, whose kindness, professionalism, and care truly elevated our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. A special thanks also to Abdurahman, who was always nearby to assist us with a smile and made us feel very well taken care of. We had an unforgettable experience here, like in a fairy tale from the Arabian Nights amidst the breathtaking desert dunes, we experienced genuine, warm hospitality. We checked into a villa that we were told was ours and were looked after by Tushar, who was invisible, very respectful of privacy and yet always there when we needed him. He explained that the owner of the house, Mohammed, had told him that it wasn't about money, the only important thing was that the guests were happy and that they were treated like family. The landlord, Mohammed himself, took us into the desert and treated us to a big dinner in the middle of the dunes, and when a sandstorm came up, Mohammed even conjured up an innovative shelter for us out of flying carpets. On the day of our departure, we were surprised by Mohammed and his children who visited us with presents, we experienced the great hospitality of Oman first hand and felt at home, and now, back home, we miss it very much.
