Very kind helpful and friendly owner, the place was very clean and it was in a quiet area. It was a little bit out of the city, which had its positives. You would need a car to get into Queenstown. One of the best places we have stayed at on our trip so far for sure! And great value. I really appreciate not being extorted like many places try. So thanks so much! 10/10 :)

Very good location especially if your skiing on the Remarkable slope as it's only a 5 minute drive to the shuttle bus at the bottom of the mountain. Uber and taxi was $40-$50 into Queenstown which was a fair price as its pretty close. Street Parking is available if you drive another 100 meters up the road so don't know what the drama was with other guests and plus it's free so who cares if it's a 2 minute walk. Also the owners provided us with information when I asked about renting ski's and food which was very helpful. Happy with our stay and would recommend to my friends

The property is in a vineyard and most rooms oversee a nice grape + tree + lake view. I stayed at Aoraki suite which is very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is daily complimentary cheese board - minibar, chips and a bottle of rose are also complimentary. I tried the “Trust the Chef” dinner at the estate which is very good. Quality food plus reasonably priced wine pairing / wine menu. Breakfast was good - continental plus a la carte. Last but not least, at the retreat suite there is a very nice lobby, infinity pool and hot tub.

Everything was amazing with our stay in the spire hotel. Firstly, the reception staff was really professional and helpful, she even initiated to help us decide on where to have for dinner and booked the table for us. Secondly, the room is massive, there’s even a separated section for the wardrobe. The water pressure is amazing, which is really important to us. The fireplace makes the room so warm and cozy. They have smart tv as well, with Netflix and YouTube installed. All their non alcoholic beverages at the minibar are complimentary. They serve amazing breakfast as well, not the buffet style, but ala carte, and you can choose to have it in your room or in the restaurant. We had dinner at their restaurant on our first night, the food was unexpectedly great, and the bill came so much more reasonable than other restaurants we went during the trip. Everything was just spectacular.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very unusual and stylish hotel room...quirky design, spacious, very very comfortable bed and pillows. Great location less than 5 minutes walk from the centre . I left some photos in the room and they emailed me within a very short time arranging to return them to me.
