There wasn't many attraction in Paeroa.
There wasn't many attraction in Paeroa. We managed to visit their beach and hot mineral bath. in the area. Thankfully we had also found Paeroa Bed and Breakfast accomodation. It is a small town, handy to the Karangahake gorge, and not too far from the Miranda Shorebird centre near Thames which we also visited. The L&P bottle is worth a photo, but we didn't explore too much else. There is a good supermarket and takeaways. I did use the local swimming pool ($2) to cool off during the summer heat. Really, Paeroa is a handy spot for exploring the wider area, well away from the bustle of the other tourist spots on the Coromandel.Guest review bytangerineNew Zealand

The hotel is quiet and tranquil with a semi rural outlook. Lots of potted conifer trees and some fruit trees add to the relaxing ambience. Furnishings and room was clean with modern decor. Outdoor BBQ/seating area is secluded from the road providing privacy. Manager/owner is welcoming, friendly and accommodating.
