A great spot away from the hustle of the city. The apartments are right next to the Wharfside shops and eateries ( highly recommend the fish and chip shop for yummy fresh gurnard meal - much cheaper than the restaurants.) I have stayed in Mapua many times while holidaying in the region. Its a perfect spot if you don't want to be in the more metropolitan Nelson/Richmond areas but still have all the facilities at hand that you want on a holiday - restaurants, cafes, shops, pub, supermarket, petrol etc etc while still only being half an hour away from Nelson etcGuest review byJoanneNew Zealand
