What a gem! Just off the main road, but very quiet and cute and among the fruit trees and heaps of animals, pigs, sheep, guinea pigs , chickens. I had the place all to myself, so very lucky. At night the stars are amazing! In the morning Warren brought a bowl with freshly picked fruit. Thank you so much!

This place is wonderful. The cottage is private with beautiful view of the mountains. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and plenty of walking paths. The salt water heated pool is an extra bonus. They also provide everything you could want to prepare your own breakfast including farm fresh eggs!

The drive there is stunning, the property is nestled in gorgeous countryside. It was very easy to find using Google maps and communication from the hosts beforehand was great. After a quick tour of all the adorable animals on the farm we settled in for a night in the hot tub under the stars. A simply magical stay! I wish we could have stayed longer.

A pretty, traditional lodge in a lovely rural setting with beautiful beaches nearby. The lodge has a pretty garden and even a pool that we only noticed the last morning. Host Dave was very nice and helpful, prompt in all communication and we felt welcome. Breakfast was very good and my gluten-free diet was noted, which I really appreciate as that isn’t nearly always clear. Our room was very spacious, had french doors and a view to a medow. Closeby Whangarei is a nice little town for a stroll, the interesting Hundertwasser gallery and even a visit to a waterfall.

The place is well marked in maps so it was easy to find. Smooth check in/out, simple communication with the host The host was very nice, showed us our room and the breakfast/living room and all details. The place is a bit secluded but so peaceful and quiet and beautiful, perfect b&b to relax while watching the nice garden around or explore Whangarei and surrounding. The rooms are freshly renovated, so spacious, comfy bed, pretty bathroom, nice sliding glass door to go to chill in the cute blue chairs on the terrace.

Great place to relax if you like peace and quiet set in exceptionally lovely gardens against a backdrop of native bush. Zero traffic noise truly is a country home yet only minutes to town and close to golf course. Our huge ensuite room opened onto veranda, kitchen was at our disposal plus coffee making in room.
