wonderful hotel and staff. This historical colonial style building remind me of the novel 《Gone with the wind》. My wife and me stayed 4 nights and loved the lawn tennis court. The staff asked what we would like to eat and changed the main course everyday. Everything is perfect, breakfast,sauna,room,swimming pool. I would thank the staff again for their great job.

I don't often write reveiws unless suitably impressed, The place was fantastic in every way. It was new, clean, beautifully decorated, the beds again were the most comfortable ever, with beautiful linen. The wifi and facilities were brilliant. This was a great place to explore Hastings and surrounding areas. A lovely home to come to after a day out. There is even a barbeque to use outside the doors, a lovely verandah to sit in the evenings and the huge doors open up on a hot evening. Very close to cafes and places to visit and not far from splash planet.

This motel was very upmarket and clean. It was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very spacious with the added bonus of not only a large shower but also a spa bath. I have no problem recommending this to anyone else who wants a great stay.

    So much to do here and everything is close.

    So much to do here and everything is close. Vineyards, restaurants/cafes are very good, Te Mata Peak is great for a short/long walk, The Market on Sunday was lovely and the shops are individually owned so lots of interesting things. Wardini Books is worth a visit. Andreas Hair and beauty was welcoming at short notice. Loved Havelock North

    I loved the township, cafes, restaurants and shopping.

    I loved the township, cafes, restaurants and shopping. A surprisingly good food scene ( we loved Mary,s)We enjoyed the wineries, especially Craggy Range. Loved that the wineries were so accessible from the hotel by both car and taxi. The views up at Te Mata Peak were stunning.

    This is a beautiful area with magnificent homes & properties on acreage. Exploring Cape Kidnappers is magical & a visit to Birdswood cafe, sculpture garden, gallery shop & sweetshop was a joy.

    Havelock Nth is an exceptional town with excellent shopping, a good supermarket with superb stock. Wine stores are well stocked with a curated range of wines. There is good boutique shopping, nice cafes and a movie theatre. I'd recommend Birdwood gallery for a visit as well as Hutchesons in Hastings for nice furniture and homewares. Great walks along riverbanks, access to wineries and bike trails. In all, worth a visit. Easy walking and if you are fit, take on Te Mata Peak!

    We were there as part of the Holly Hospice Trail.

    We were there as part of the Holly Hospice Trail. Fantastic homes and gardens. Enjoyed the township of Havelock North and the generosity of people making their homes available for a charitable event. From Te Mata Peak, great sights on a good day. Climate great, much warmer than more southern parts of NZ. Plenty of eateries, standard, variable. Car needed, maybe GPS.

    Lovely area for the winery’s, best one to visit is Craggy Range, great tour & food fantastic. Markets at Black Barn & Hawke’s Bay Farmers Market are wonderful & shops at Napier are the best.

    We were provided with everything we needed. A bonus was coffee making facilities. Every space and every thing was nice and clean. The rooms were spacious as were the bathrooms. Another bonus was being able to charge our electric car. Beds were comfortable. The location was very central, which wasn’t actually important for us this time, but we will know for another time, and be able to pass that on to anyone looking to stay in Havelock North. Many thanks for our stay with you.

    Location was perfect 5minutes walk to other family and a quick drive to all the great shops in Havelock North. Wineries close by and 20 minutes to Ocean beach which is awesome. Stop at the Red Bridge Coffee shop on the way.

    The unit we stayed in had everything we required very well equipped. Allan the kune kune pig was friendly, loved the animals here. I enjoyed a stroll down to the Havelock North shops as it was so close.
