The Villa Fregn is simply fantastic. We were welcomed by hosts who were so warm and friendly like never before. The hosts have thought of every little detail. The evening dinner is absolutely recommended with local products. Breakfast was also fantastic with homemade cinnamon buns. The hosts have realized their dream by opening Villa Fregn, and you can feel it when staying there.

The location is close to the ski lifts (5 min driving to the car park, near the ski lift T2), the room was big enough to accomodate a couple, also the room was spotless and well-maintained, equipped with a mini fridge. The bed, pillows, and seating areas were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was fast, with excellent connection. The large-screen TV in our room featured an additional option to connect your phone or tablet via Chromecast, so we had access to a wide variety of programs online, allowing us to enjoy our preferred content. That is a massive plus, I would say, for people spending most of the evening in their room (not so many outdoor attractions in Trysil, after nightfall, unfortunately). The breakfast was a buffet style, with something for every taste. It was neatly arranged, and everything was kept clean. It was a great stay and the staff were very friendly. We intend to return at this hotel in the near future.

Everything was absolutely amazing! The staff was the best and the most hospitable we have ever experienced in Norway, truly top class. The hotel restaurant was spectacular and really surprised us with the quality of food. Hotel had thought of everything for our comfort. We could use storage room and drying room for our skiing equipment and the bus to the mountain was just outside the entrance, which made going to the mountain to ski very easy and pleasant.

Landgård Feriehus is a recently renovated homestay in Trysil, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar.

There’s everything on site, restaurant, pool, spa, ski room, bowling etc and it’s SO handy when you ski as you can literally ski back to the hotel. Hotel staff is super helpful and polite. We had the best time during Christmas !
