It is a great place to visit during the summer, with lots of people in town and at the restaurants by the pier promenade. The city center is quite compact, so you can walk from the railway station in one end, to the football stadium in the other end, in about 25 minutes. The city is by the ocean, so there are a lot of beaches and places to swim just outside the city proper. The nightlife is quite good too, especially during weekends.Guest review byKjetilNorway

Comfy beds, good kitchen. I would stay here again, for sure. I love the history of Fredrikstad and Widdingstua, the Magasinet's family studio, on Isegran Island is part of that.
