The Senja Fjordhotel is a tucked away in the extreme south of the island on the shores of a small fjord. Its very modern as only built 5-6 years ago so was very comfortable with high end fittings. The room was plenty big for both of us and had a nice dual aspect view over the fjord and small boat jetty. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Its a small boutique type hotel and the staff vere very friendly and professional and gave some good tips on local activities. Breakfats each morning was excellent as was the evening dinner. The beauty of the location is that the only thing to do is enjoy nature, we got in some swims and hike in the national park so really enjoyed our three days there

Fantastic location, super clean rooms and epic views from the room. The family running this hotel is the sweetest and nicest people and they go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Very easy going and it feels more like staying at a friends house than a hotel. Recommending 100%

We stayed at both the lighthouse and the aurora sea view cabin. They were both super clean and cozy. Very good showers with high water pressure. Quiet, peaceful surroundings with amazing views. Meals were delicious, especially the fish soup. The host, Hege, was so nice, always attentive and very helpful. When she knew our next destination is Sommarøy, she initiated to check for us whether the car ferry route to Sommarøy would actually open on that day(because it was just after Christmas holidays). Was a really wonderful experience staying at Norwegian Wild, definitely recommend it !

The views are incredible. Such a relaxing and peaceful place off the beaten track. Good size for a couple or a family either 2 children. The kitchen is very well equipped. No restaurants and shops close by, but this isn’t a problem if you come prepared. Many nice hiking trails in the area and the ferry to Harstad just 5 min away.

The cabin is situated in a beautiful location, within a reasonable distance from the neighbours. It is a great place for people who want to relax away from the most crowded places, while at the same time the nearest town where you can find all amenities (including well-stocked shops) is quite close (a distance of about 30 kilometres). The cabin itself is very comfortable, has amenities that make your stay easier (e.g. washing machine, internet access ), but also make it more pleasant (fireplace inside and outside the building). I stayed in the house in winter and despite the frost outside - inside the cabin was very warm and cozy. The area around the cabin is great - a lot of space wonderfully developed by the host – Dag-Andre. Dag-Andre also made available to me a small barbecue hut down by the sea - it was a super nice gesture and a great surprise that I did not expect. The hut is a great place to relax and also a great place to warm up while watching the Northern Lights. Dag-Andre is a great host - he answered questions very quickly, suggested interesting ideas for spending time, took care of the comfort of his guests. I highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for peace and quiet and wants to relax in beautiful surroundings (in the company of reindeers and elks, especially elks :)) It is also a great place to observe the northern lights, with beautiful views at the cabin itself, but also in the surrounding area. To sum up - only 10 points can be awarded, but the place and the host deserve 20 :) Dag-Andre - Thank you for a great stay and warm welcome!
