Very interesting place to learn something about the history of Norway. The place is today quite cozy and it feels like a big B&B. There is a small kitchen that can be used to cook (but note that the only grocery store around closes at 18). Breakfast was simple but good. The price includes the entrance to the museum, that you can visit even after closing hours. Remember to check for time of guided tours if you are interested.

The cabin is located on a farm with horses and chickens, which I absolutely adored and went to greet every morning and evening. Whole place looks magical, especially during snow season. Roads were good and safe, we had no problem getting in and out, even caught a glimpse of a moose chilling in the trees. The house is comfortable and adorable, it has all the kitchen equipment you might need, an oven to bake some fresh breadrolls in the morning and pots and pans for making dinner. You can find a box with reflective bands and headlamps for walking at night - it’s the first time I encountered something like this and I appreciate the thought a lot. If you worry that there are not enough reviews and are not sure if it’s a good place for you - stop worrying and book your stay. Nothing beats the price and the quality. Thanks again to the house owners, we had a magical time 😊

House is recently build, well equipped. There is electrical heating and good ventilation system. It looks like all the necessary for the home from IKEA is there. There is a small terrace to sit and drink some tea. One of my daughters even said: "I'd love to have such house!". As a family we particularly liked dishwasher - it saves a lot of time. Washing machine allows to leave some clothes at home. The house location is 23 minutes driving distance to the airport and 55 minutes to Trondheim. House is located in the outskirts of village, close to the lake (7 minutes of slow walk). Beach is well maintained, there is a toilet and place to change clothes, lifebuoy is there. They have tables and chairs and even a grill. Water is clean, not deep. Grass is cut. Check in for house is easy - there is electronic key, you have to key-in the number. Hosts sent the number in advance. Hosts are very friendly, willing to assist in every matter.

Very friendly and helpful host, quiet room, big bathroom with good shower, nice home made breakfast with freshly cooked omelette and real bread, plentiful coffee. Location ideal for walking in the beautiful Norwegian countryside. Host even made breakfast specially for me at 6am owing to early start for transport!
