My recent stay at De Kamer was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that Ilse and Jan had poured their hearts into creating a welcoming and enchanting haven for their guests. The attention to detail in every aspect of our stay was simply remarkable. The room was beautifully adorned, boasting a perfect balance of comfort and elegance. It was clear that Ilse and Jan had thought of every little touch to ensure a truly memorable experience. Their warm and genuine hospitality was what truly made the stay exceptional. Isle and Jan greeted us with smiles that made us feel instantly at home. They took the time to get to know us, offering valuable insights into the local area and suggesting hidden gems to explore. The tranquil ambiance of De Kamer combined with the heartfelt hospitality of Ilse and Jan, created an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. I cannot thank them enough for making our stay so special. If you are looking for a charming retreat with hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, look no further than De Kamar. This is our third visit to this hotel. We love everything about this hotel and Enkhuizen. It is great to combine busy Amsterdam with Enhuizen where the pace is very different. All the staff are so friendly and worked so hard to make their customers happy. We ate in the restaurant one night and were more than satisfied with the quality of food and service. Breakfast was also an enjoyable experience with so much on offer. Our room was in the front of the hotel overlooking the water so couldn't have had a better view.

    A reasonable sized hotel with a large room and en-suite. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was good once the temperature was dialled in. Good continental breakfast in the morning with plenty of selection. A limited menu was available for dinner the night before in their restaurant and bar which saved having to go out looking elsewhere. Free parking right outside was very convenient.

    We stay just one night ..Nice hotel and restaurant .. The team is very attentive and helpful .. Rooms are simple but complete and neaty. The restaurant serves a good variety of meals and the breakfast is good, too. The property is near the lake.. Very good option for short stays and travellers..

    The hotel building is old, but the facilities are new. Helpful staff, great breakfast. We also ordered dinner in the evening there, the portions were large and the food was very delicious.
