Small number of rooms, relaxed environment, DIY breakfast but excellent restaurant for evening meal and super quiet location in the heart of Veere all came together to make this a perfect place to stay. Lack of parking at the accommodation (as in the whole of central Veere) added to tranquillity.

Hotel was really beautiful. We saw how everything looks on pictures but it was much better in real life. We had room with bath tub and we were really happy with it. Hotel is really nice, clean and staff was really friendly and helpful. If we have chance, we will definitely come back. Thank you!

Very welcoming. Great hospitality. Breakfast was outstanding - huge range of choice, great buffet. Evening food was also excellent. Rooms very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Pool and spa was fantastic, could not rate this hotel highly enough - you will not be disappointed with any aspect

    Town is lovely to visit, with antique buildings and 2 impressive churches. It is however heavily focused on tourists, and the opportunity for a good and affordable dinner are scarce. There were a lot of very wealthy yacht owners.

    I would highly recommend a trip to Veere.

    I would highly recommend a trip to Veere. The town of Veere is gorgeous and there is plenty to see. We happily explored the streets, shops and restaurants. We also hired bikes which made it a lot easier to explore the surrounding towns of Vrouwenpolder. I am gluten free and found some delicious options at Brasserie de Peperboom (must try and be sure to book) and De Werf is great for drinks and fresh seafood along the water.

    Gorgeous little family-owned boutique hotel in the centre of quaint adorable Veere - an ideal place from which to explore Walcheren. Large stylish room and bathroom with all the expected amenities (coffee and tea in the room, A/C, good WiFi, fluffy towels and high end toiletries), comfortable bed, very quiet. Very friendly staff and owners, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was abundant and served in the attached restaurant which is also worth checking out for lunch or dinner.

    As cyclists we loved this apartment. It is a little cottage, about the size of a good hotel room with ensuite - entirely separate from nearby house with its own entry - access via locked box. Everything inside is new & modern - kitchenette, bathroom. Quiet location, 20 mins walk to town for cafes & supermarkets. Has everything needed for a couple. No direct contact with hosts, but they were easily contactable - appreciated their wine gift when we arrived wet & tired.

    A really excellent breakfast; so often in otherwise good hotels the orange juice is not made from freshly squeezed oranges, but in the Hotel De Heeren it was fresh and delicious. This is only a minor detail, but it helped to make our stay really perfect.

    We were shown to the most wonderful room with its own terrace overlooking the church and tower. It was an oasis and sun trap. The property is right in the heart of Veere next to the river. It is absolutely idyllic.
