The staff were helpful, polite and friendly. The room was clean, with a very nice view of the canal. The hotel was quiet and the facilities were comfortable. Finally, very good value for money.

Esther!! Absolutely lovely lady who was so welcoming. She has clearly travelled herself so knows how to help people and make them feel welcoming without being in your face. Gave us advice as to when to do the boats and where to have dinner and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful walk into town along the canals.

Perfect! We loved staying at this hotel. It has a very cosy restaurant and breakfast room, the staff are very friendly and the location was perfect for us to discover this part of the beautiful Netherlands (20 min to Giethoorn, 25 min to Urk). There are cycling paths starting from the hotel directly for those looking to ride the bike here. The rooms are comfortable and light with a large window and with a huge bathroom with both shower and bathtub. Great value for money!

    This was our last stop of a trip around Europe and having stayed in some expensive hotels, our stay at Het Leeuwterveld felt as though we saved the best until last and such incredible value for money. The house is beautiful and in a quiet location which we really appreciated, having stayed in some busy cities. The room and bathroom are beautiful and we had access to a kitchen area in the main dining space. The hosts are lovely and welcoming and breakfast was fantastic. All in all felt like a hidden gem!

    The whole appartment looked even more spacious than it looked in the photos. It looked like it was remodeled recently as it looks super modern and well equiped. The bed was by far the most comfy one I've encountered in any hotel. Having an apple pie on our arrival was a really nice touch from the owner which is super nice.
