The owners of the hotel made everything possible to make you feel welcomed as a guest. Facility was great, clean, staff very friendly and supportive, simply said, you feel like home. The dinner in the restaurant was also very good, I can recommend to have dinner there at least once.

The boutique hotel is a truly special place—exceptionally beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere. Aimée and Ron, the hosts, have transformed the old farmhouse from the early 19th century into a top-class haven of comfort. The blend of traditional farmhouse charm and modern design has been executed incredibly well. Their concept of using local materials like limestone and repurposing building materials has been a great success. The three suites—just recently completed—are outstanding in terms of architecture and interior design. The quality of the furniture, lighting, and bathrooms is very high. With great attention to detail in every furnishing and floor covering, they have truly created something extraordinary. We felt at home right away. In the evening, we shared a glass of wine with the two of them and felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel is just a little over 10 minutes by car from the center of Maastricht, making everything easily accessible. The surrounding area also features some very nice restaurants, some with wonderful views of Maastricht from the hills. Parking right in front of the hotel or at the public parking lot just 100 meters away is no problem. There is also a charging station for electric cars on the lot. We wholeheartedly wish Aimée, Ron, and their family—with their two daughters, two dogs, and two horses—all the best and much success with their project. We’ll gladly come back.

    Warm welcome on arrival, led to our clean/fresh room with a lovely view. The restaurant menu was in Dutch but much help was given and appreciated. The food was tasty, presented well and good value. We were advised on a good 30-40 minute walking route into Valkenburg following the river and passing a memorial from WW2. Enjoyed a latte and smoothie at the hotel post walk. A good night’s sleep was had followed by a decent continental breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and make you feel welcome.

    Great location, country’s style hotel, quiet and easily accessible with the car and right next to the treinstation. The room was decent and the beds comfortable. We loved the deck in the restaurant where we could enjoy our breakfast (and dinner) enjoying the sun while looking out over the meadows. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

    Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the countryside and with a small view of the river. Complimentary bottle of wine in room. Nice restaurant with food menu including some local dishes which were excellent. Breakfast was also excellent. Plenty of off-street car parking

    Our room was spacious with very comfy beds., Beautiful scenery from our balcony. Lovely hikes, friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast after an early morning hike. Enough to do in the towns surrounding the hotel.
