NOT AS DESCRIBED ON THE WEBSITE, EXACT OPPOSITE, DIRTY, OLD, STINKY! Liked · Unfortunately NOTHING AT ALL! The only good thing was the receptionist had spoken English & tried to guide me to the property. Disliked · I paid for the room online over the Booking.com. The pictures of the property on the website were neat & looked tidy! But as i have arrived it was exact the opposite! The receptionist had to guide me to the property on the phone as at the time major renovation was in progress & scaffolding were placed in front of the property, which made it difficult to locate. The area where the hotel is based, looked rough, the carpets in the lobby were stinky & to finish the experience off, my room has been already sold to someone else, even though I have paid for it online! I got a cash refund & went out upset, as i driven for 3 days & was desperate to rest & now I was left to look for a room to sleep, last minute prices & availability in a city late night are a challenge for a tired traveller! The outside seating area was a very pleasant place to sit in the good weather as it is protected on 2 sides by the hotel and on the other 2 sides by trees. Plenty of parking. The complimentary fudge provided with the coffee. My daughter kept ordering more coffee just to get the fudge. The room was clean and quiet, and the property is just steps away from the train station that connects to the Hague or to Rotterdam.
