A bed and breakfast for under 100 Euro is almost unheard of in these parts. Really quiet in this part of the city. Close to the station, which was important: It was a bad day for trains in The Netherlands and if I had to take one more bus or taxi it would be the proverbial last straw.

The tower was clean and really cozy! The owner was very helpful about everything! The breakfast was served innerst to the room and was delicious. Coffee machine and kettle on the room with nice tea and good coffee.

The location of the Tiny House of Eikhof is remarkably good: very close to the center and still quiet and within a beautiful garden. This tiny house is also decorated with a lot of care and focus on details, it has all the facilities including stove and kitchen sink which make the tiny house worth a longer stay. This place is very special. It is a complete contrast to the typical place. It is historic and luxurious with a strong connection to its origin as a water tower. If you like somewhere memorable and special this is the place for you.

I come from Hengelo so I know the town.

I come from Hengelo so I know the town. Hotel is very close to train and bus station- very good location. Close to the library as well. A variety of cafe's, pub and restaurant in walking distance (5 min). De Twee Wezen is a great place for lunch or dinner. Albert Heyn (supermarket) also close by (10 min). Parking garage is opposite the hotel (although you do have to pay for it yourself, is not included. E10 for 24 hours parking, can be arranged at the hotel which was practical.

The huge spacious room with great big comfy bed was fabulous. Air con, balcony, separate toilet and shower room, but beware! The wet tiled floor may be lethal! The restaurant is fantastic, great food and lovely staff. The digital key proved to be a bit of a stressful fiasco until we could actually download it.

I am not writing reviews often, but this time I really had to. Location is great, main station nearby. Stuff was really friendly, although it is a restaurant, so there is no real reception and was a lot of guests, they found right away time for me. So check-in and check-out basically easy. Small supplies like lotion and shampoo are plus.
