Beautiful hotel in a lovely leafy residential location, a short walk from the Naarden fortress. My room had everything I needed: a sash window that fully opened, giving fresh air from the garden; a kettle and fridge; a safe deposit box, both a bath and shower; comfy beds; large desk with lamp and a television with channels already loaded.

Staff were super helpful and friendly at all times, it really made it nice. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and so handy for the train. Food was surprisingly good! Our second stay here will come again

What did I like? Everything. What an absolute gem of a property. I was hesitant to write this review, as I selfishly don't want more people to find out about Villa Trompenberg. But yea, the place is simply phenomenal. Really cool old house converted into a boutique hotel. Everything you could want from an accommodation and then some. Large, elegant, spotlessly clean, comfortable room. Bikes available for hire. Fully stocked 24 hour food and drink offerings in the reception / kitchen. Easy everything; check in, bike hire, coffee on demand, honesty bar, check out. The daughter in the family that owns the property was there in the morning making eggs to order for the guests, and chatting with her a bit was a total bonus highlight. Honestly one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I've ever had.

What a beautiful place to stay, in the most idyllic town of Weesp. I'm just so glad we got to experience this unusual and romantic accommodation. The breakfast in bed was a pure delight looking out on the most breathtaking views. A must!!!

The place was perfect for us. A family with 3 children who went on daily trips from the hotel. We stayed two days at the hotel. The rooms were clean, full breakfast. The staff was simply amazing, helpful and warmly responded to our request. We are very satisfied and highly recommend the place

The location was great. It is a very pretty town with more things to explore than I had time for. It was a short taxi ride to catch the ferry in Mukden for a visit to the island of Pampus. This is also where the castle is located. I wished I had more time to explore. Also, when I wasn’t 100% happy with my room, the hotel was very gracious in finding a different room. Lastly, there is a great restaurant right next door that is open later, after the hotel restaurant closes which was nice. It was about an 10 minute walk from the train station and very easy to find.

the location is fantastic, right in the centre. the building is an old converted house. the owner was great and upgraded us to the attic as it was our honeymoon. I would highly recommended taking either rooms 10 or 11.

    The hotel is affordable. But the staff is really the worst.

    The hotel is affordable. But the staff is really the worst. They wade shocking mistake after shocking mistake, and never felt sorry for anything. Even when that meant giving us the key of an occupied room instead of ours, which had us wake up two half naked girls in the middle of the night.. Everything was so wrong ; the key cards would almost never work. The reception hours were clearly not respected, and we were sometimes left out waiting in the night for them to actually arrive (check in is supposed to be almost 24/7, which was the reason why we had selected this hotel). Even worse, when we tried to complain, they never treated our request and never answered, even after we had issued a complaint through the Booking platform. Just the worst. Never coming back here.

    The price was reasonable, and we were upgraded to a larger room which was very kind. Aircon was great, parking was great, very clean and quiet. Close to the highway - but for sure you need a car to stay at this hotel. Good location to visit some sites in the area if you have a car, including Amsterdam (as you can drive to the station and park there, or possibly take a bus). We visited Muiderslot amongst other things in the area.

    Friendly staff. Check- in and - out was smooth without queuing. Check- in and- out times were generous compared to many other hotels. The location next to the train station was a great plus to visit Amsterdam. Great surroundings for walking and biking. We had a room at the back-side and did not hear the trains passing by .

    The hotel was amazing and the beds were a dream to sleep in. Staff was friendly and inviting. The area around the hotel was quiet. Value for money is excellent if you visit Amsterdam by car.
