First most important - location, by the beach with beautiful set up. Staff is super friendly and helpful, tents are comfortable and don't let insects inside. Snorkeling and life jacket equipment are available to rent. Please is build with community and volunteering effort, very much worth the price comparing to nearby resorts. Toilet and showers are camping style but comfortable

Best Stay During Our Malaysia Trip This was simply the best hotel experience we’ve ever had! The room was nice, with a fan and air conditioning. The host was wonderful and very helpful, including arranging snorkelling tours and taxis. The village is also lovely.

Our trip to Alunan Resort will be unforgettable. The staff is so friendly and helpful and that's why we felt so comfortable there. The snorkeling trips are very well organized and we saw creatures underwater that impressed us so much. We just loved it!
