Like everyone before us has said, Isla Retreat is a gem. It is a wonderful hotel, decorated with great taste, creating a warm atmosphere. It is very, very clean, with rooms and the restaurant offering amazing views. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are always fresh and tasty. What truly makes this place so special and rich is the staff, who make you feel like you're at a friend's house—always there to help, so friendly, and so welcoming. We also fell in love with the two little cats doing stand-up paddle as well as the owner ;-). You can take bicycles to explore the island, which we loved. You can also enjoy stand-up paddles, and there's a wonderful beach right next to the hotel, plus many beautiful beaches (both bikini and non-bikini) around the island. The island itself is a gem—still natural and not crowded, where you can feel the Maldivian culture and experience the way people live. Once again, everyone was so welcoming. And let's not forget all the amazing trips you can take with the Isla Retreat staff: manta snorkeling, rose reef garden snorkeling, sea turtles, dolphins at sunset, little sharks, bioluminescent plankton, sandbanks or simply admiring the stunning night sky full of stars. It was an exceptional experience! The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful, with special mentions to Aani and Andhu who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The facilities were immaculately clean and very well-maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The hotel is ideally situated for diving enthusiasts, offering easy access to stunning dive sites. What made the stay truly memorable, however, was the warmth and kindness of the local people. They welcomed us like family, and their hospitality greatly enhanced our experience.

This hotel is really amazing which deserves my 5 stars review and honestly, the staffs were so cooperative and nice. (Manager, Chef, Server, Receptionist especially) We were given a free delicious lunch when we arrived and assisted us all throughout. They are all friendly and well informed about everything in the island. The room is really great with a wooden-dim ambiance and a cute little coffee garden behind. The room comes with an espresso machine as well. The food were all 5-stars which really surprised us. It exceeded our expectations as every meal were so delicious and served like in a 5 stars fine dining restaurant. Everything in this hotel were amazing aside from this wonderful local island. I strongly recommend this to everyone, solo, group, couple who would like to enjoy the serenity and beauty of Fulhadhoo Islands in Maldives.

Aiman and the other staff at the property were great and responsive to our requests. We read some prior negative reviews about the food but I think they resolved that because we we enjoyed the mix of local and western food including some incredible fresh grilled fish. The island was perfect for what we were looking for, a lost paradise with super friendly locals.

The Tropical tree is a great place to stay. It has its own beach. The rooms are very clean. The food is very good. Always well cooked. We had half board and it was a good choice. There are not a lot of other restaurants on the island. The Christmas beach BBQ party was great. We also had grilled fish other days. The stuff is very friendly and always ready to help. We take 2 boat trips and they were very interesting and well organized. We went for turtles trip and fish feeding. We didn’t see turtles but visited other interesting places for snorkeling. We would like to thank the owner Jabu for our stay.

Everything was perfect! Villa is so beautiful and modern. Everything you need is provided. All house and surrounding area was perfectly clean. Mufeed is an amazing host, he looked after us the minut we landed in Male. We spent with him 3h and he helped us to organize all necessary stuffs before we traveled to Fehendhoo island. He was very kind, laid back and also assisted us during our stay. Ali, the person who looks after the villa in Fehendhoo, was super helpful! He showed us where is the shop, restaurants and bikini beach. He’s so amazing and cordial person. Fishing with him was so much fun! We loved every minute of our stay in cove Fehendhoo and we hope to visit this place again and meet these amazing people one more time.

Very beautiful and modern property. Definitely the most luxurious, nicest place to stay onFulhadhoo. The hosts were extremely kind, offered us snorkelling gear for free and it’s possible to book various activities with them like manta and turtle snorkelling etc.
