The rooms are just as beautiful as shown in pictures and also provide a yoga mat and a beach bag. The whole building feels really spacious, bright and open and has its own Bikini beach area right in front, where you can just hang out or go snorkeling or stand up paddling. You get daily updates about weather, tides and activities. Even if the island is really remote and luckily not touristy, you can pretty much do any activity like snorkeling trips, fishing trips, dolphin cruise etc, all carefully prepared and done by the owner Ismail himself. On top of that there were complimentary activities done by Ismail such as house reef snorkeling and short thematic walks, so you could truly get to know the island and Maldivian culture. The island itself is also just super beautiful. With only a small village, half of the island is pretty green jungle and the bikini beach area spans across a wide part of the island. You cannot walk all around the isla nd, which makes it perfect to have nice little isolated beach areas to yourself. Also the house reef of the island is amazing with so many different fish - it’s just a dream for snorkeling. If you are lucky you can even see Manta rays right from the beach or from the SUP. What really makes this place special is the people who go above and beyond so that you can have your perfect holiday - from fresh coconut right from the tree or amazing chai tea, to organizing trips that are not regularly offered. Aiman and the other staff at the property were great and responsive to our requests. We read some prior negative reviews about the food but I think they resolved that because we we enjoyed the mix of local and western food including some incredible fresh grilled fish. The island was perfect for what we were looking for, a lost paradise with super friendly locals.

The rooms are big and cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bikini beach is 3 minutes away and when we wanted to go to the further one, they provided transport. The island is very beautiful and quiet, perfect for relaxation. If you don’t expect luxury, but rather a quiet and relaxed vacation, Tropical Tree is the perfect spot.

Ahiva Village is simply incredible. If you want a quiet and relaxing vacation this is the place. Lea and the rest of the staff are great and gave us a lot of information. We felt very welcome there. The food was great in both quality and possibility of choice (given the fact we are on a remote Island, I was very surprised about it). The bikini beach is less than 5 minutes while the coral beach is about 10-15 minutes. The Mosque at 5am is loud, but it gave us the chance to go to beach earlier as see the beautiful wildlife in the early morning. Overall, I love the hotel and considering to come back.

We had an amazing five-day stay at Zen Inn in Fulhadhoo! The host and staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The food was delicious, and our room was always spotless. We didn't know that the boat to the island only goes once a day, and we arrived late, the owner offered us to change the reservation for 4 days instead of 5 so to not to lose money, it was very good move. Also there’s very helpful staff they can help you with many questions

This is the perfect antidote to staying in an overpriced, crowded resort. I strongly recommend both the property and Mufeed's hospitality that went above and beyond what any paying guest would normally expect. Truly remarkable! Mufeed and his team of Shabeer and Anamul expertly looked after us from the minute we arrived in Malé until our departure. Speedboat bookings, crisis management owing to our late arrival, including booking us into an overnight hotel in Malé, advising us on where to eat and shop, taking us on a tour of Malé including the Fish and Fruit/Vegetable Markets, all before actually arriving on Fehendhoo Island, ensured an excellent start to our stay with them. The high quality modern property is absolutely amazing with everything you could ever wish for included. Tastefully decorated to the highest of standards, it offers a luxurious stay and excellent value for money. Whilst on Fehendhoo Island, Mufeed also has a very wide range of activities planned for you at an excellent price. We went line fishing and caught over a dozen fish including grouper and red snapper, which Mufeed and his team then barbecued for us in the lovely garden at the rear of the property. We also took part in the fish feeding trip where we hand fed bat fish and tried jet-skiing, all at some of the cheapest prices available in the Maldives. Nothing was too much for Mufeed and he was on hand to arrange everything including lifts to the bikini beach, food shopping and answer any of our many queries. If you would like to experience the true Maldives and gain an invaluable insight into Maldivian life, as opposed to staying in an inauthentic resort where you have no alternative but to pay exorbitant prices for poor food and extortionate transfers to and from Malé, then this is the accommodation for you.

Very beautiful and modern property. Definitely the most luxurious, nicest place to stay onFulhadhoo. The hosts were extremely kind, offered us snorkelling gear for free and it’s possible to book various activities with them like manta and turtle snorkelling etc.
