Garden, terrace, on each floor there is a lobby where u can relax. On last flor u can iron and dry your clothes and it is also top roof view, over all very functional space. The host, Jay built everything himself and also restored some furniture he is very creative. Most importantly it was clean, over one month we traveled Mauritius, we booked 10s of other apartments and this was by far the best value for money and the cleanest. Jay was very helpful and we felt like a part of the family.

The location of the property is absolutely perfect in the east of Mauritius. The pool is very clean and properly maintained. The property is very well maintained with all the amenities present like iron, cylinder, microwave, fridge, water heater. It was all in all perfect.

The place is really nice, clean and has a great price, but what we loved most was the people. This was one of the best experiences I had in a hotel. Jankee, the owner of the place, and his family are great people. They gave us a lot of tips and offered to show us the island several times for small prices and told us about their history and culture. Many of these places were only known by locals He also offered to look for you at the airport. The prices he offers are much better than what any taxi will charge you. He also shared his life history, and at the end of the 7 days we were there, we felt like part of the family. The place also counts with the fridge, and for a price laundry and dinner If we could, we would set more than a 10. GREAT experience We wish them the best

The hotel is a real dreamlike boutique hotel. Just WOW! Very quiet and very peaceful! The sea view is truly mesmerizing all day long and has spectacular sunrises! We have even been so lucky to see humpback whales passing by daily at only 100 to 200 meters in front of the hotel! The restaurant is great, and the food is excellent with a great à-la-carte menu with enough options to choose from with even a 3-course menu that changes every day. As we have eaten in the restaurant every evening, we can vouch for the fact that the menu does not get boring. As stated by other guests, some dishes require paying a half board supplement, however that is completely appropriate as the quality is appropriate. The room cleaning staff is amazing with a tidy room every day. Next, whilst having dinner in the evening, the staff even refresh your room and bed + leaving a lovely local chocolate treat! But what stands out the most, that is the staff!!! What an amazing staff La Maison d'Eté Hotel has! Impeccable service, very kind and very helpful! It is due to the staff that this hotel is checking all the boxes! To all the staff, thank you for making our stay very memorable! From the hotel reception, Reema, being extra-ordinary polite and courteous, to the cleaning staff doing an outstanding job, the staff at the beach being very helpful to all the kind staff in the restaurant and bar! Specials thanks to: Dinesh, what a warm person you are! Truly a warm-hearted helpful person that made our Holiday in Mauritius even extra special. Your guidance into exploring Mauritius have been very helpful. Abhi, thanks for your continues humour!
