When we arrived in the hotel we had warm welcome from the polite reception. The room was very clean, the furniture was very good. We had dinner at the restaurant, wonderful view, in front of the hotel is beautiful garden, the food was delious and the waiters are very polite. I recommend this hotel 🥂

The accommodation exceeded all my expectations. Starting with the excellent location, just a short walk from the city centre, we found it easily thanks to clear instructions from the host. A designated parking space was also provided, which was very convenient. The host was fantastic—attentive, thoughtful, and welcoming. The accommodation itself featured a lovely terrace and was exceptionally clean. It had air conditioning, it was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need during a vacation: bathroom essentials, fresh towels, a hair dryer, iron, and a well-stocked kitchen with basics like salt, sugar, oil, and vinegar. Although we didn’t cook, having these available was very thoughtful. I especially appreciated the variety of coffee options provided, along with a coffee machine, such a nice touch! I truly enjoyed my stay, and if I return to Dojran, I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again.

Perfect location with a lake view and a quiet surrounding. I enjoyed my morning coffee, accompanied by the smell of the beautiful lake and the bird songs from the surrounding. The host was very hospitable and friendly. I recommend this accommodation for family with or without kids.

    Good place to stay one night between Greece and Serbia trip, you can eat good (reccomend FukTak restoraunt) and you can swim in the lake. Also near the lake there is a nice park to walk through and the parking is easy to find (on some places you need to pay for it in some periods).

    The Star Dojran is perfect place to make stop over night...

    The Star Dojran is perfect place to make stop over night during long trips to Greece. I didn't have too much time to walk around, but that what I saw, looks like Star Dojran is smale pretty place but not sure how it would be with longer stay there.

    Star Dojran is a peaceful and relaxing commune on the shores...

    Star Dojran is a peaceful and relaxing commune on the shores of Lake Dojran, built on the remaining on the destroyed city of Dojran during World War I. The commune offers everything you can expect from a small touristic spot, great climate, lake views, a modest beach, several cheap but good bars and restaurants, and great hiking trails up the mountains. It's a perfect spot for a weekend getaway with family and friends, especially if you are looking for a place that's a bit off the grid and not as touristic as Ohrid Lake. Additional value are the cheap prices, super friendly locals with great English, the peaceful and quiet evenings, and the warm summerish weather up until the middle of November. And let's not forget it's proximity to other towns in the area, the city of Strumica, and Greece - which all makes Dojran a great place even for a longer stay, especially if you are with a car.

    One day is really enough to explore Dojran.

    One day is really enough to explore Dojran. There are few fish restaurants near the lake. There are beaches but most of the people are just sunbathing. The lake doesn't look clean and I guess that is the main reason why there are just few people swimming in the lake. Perfect for overnight stay if you travel to Greece as there is a nearby border crossing. Other than that, not really much to see.

    Not much to see really, The lake is dirty and I would not recommend swimming although there are a few beaches. There are a few restaurants with fair prices. The road is busy overnight as there is a border cross nearby.

    Beautiful relaxed town with lovely restaurants with low prices. It is not crowded, you can always find a place where you can have tasty food. The lake is clean and the water is warm. The locals are friendly and very kind.

    Clean. Incredibly comfortable beds. The best location in Star Dojran. Great tv channels choice. New room and bathroom. Great value for the price. Parking is available next to the building on the right side when looking from the street. The guy is probably waiting and telling you how and where to park.
