I felt like I am a movie star in an old italian film :) Fabulous little hotel at the central town square! I loved arhitecture of the hotel and old style bilinds on the windows - "škure"! Marko was a great host. He recomended boat excursion which was fantastic! He has helped a lot on my way to Virpazar suggesting best directions. Ladies working at the reception and in a restaurant were very nice and polite. They have recomened little antique exibition at the attic of the hotel. My best recommendations for Pelikan hotel!

The host Mijo, and her parents, were wonderful and welcoming. They were quick to help with any questions or issues. We enjoyed a 3h tour at the lake Skadar by Mijo, and got to see amazing nature and it's habitats. There is a hiking trail right next to the apartment, going up the hill for wonderful views of the nature reserve. It was a wonderful stay, with warm hospitality.

Staying at Jocker guest house was an absolutely wonderful experience, primarily due to our hosts, Sneza and Vesko who are incredibly kind and hospitable - they went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visit and felt at home. Jocker is a gem nestled in Skadar Lake National Park - the perfect place to simply relax and enjoy the stunning scenery while we have our meals. We definitely recommend taking up on their offers to provide breakfast and dinner. The meals came in generous portion.The fish that Sneza cooked was freshly caught by Luka, their son. We each had one whole fish and one thick slab of fillet, cooked to perfection. The fish was so delicious we asked for it again. The guesthouse was stocked with chocolate and candies and there were fruits and homemade wine in the fridge. And we also take on their offer to have Luka, their son, take us out in their boat to enjoy the lake and the multitude of birds that inhabit the lake. We were glad we did! Our boat trip with their son, Luka, was very enjoyable. We had the entire lake to ourselves and it was so serene as we savoured the beautiful panoramic view of the lake as well as the lovely channels with its reeds and lotus and the melody of the different varieties of birds. The whole journey was enlightening as Luka shared his in-depth knowledge of the lake and directed our attention to the different varieties of birds and their habits. I highly recommend doing 2 hours to really appreciate the boat ride.

My husband and I had an excellent stay at Greenfield apartments. It was so clean and comfortable and the nice hosts received us with some great sweet juice. We also had some of their homemade red wine, and the continental breakfast in the morning, everything was delicious!!! I would 100% recommend.

Studio apartment in Virpazar had everything we needed and was perfectly quiet in the evening. We had dinner cooked by hosts - so delicious - and breakfast in the morning. Hosts are all very kind and go out of their way to do anything for you. Lovely people. They also organised a 3 hour private cruise on Lake Skardar which was wonderful
