The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

a perfect checkin made a perfect first impression: the whole place was just like in any westerner's dream, who wants to stay in a rain forest for a few days: spotted meny monkeys, crocodiles, birds, mammals from our terrace and even from our bed, through the windows! Very calm place, but still close to the main road and villages. The equipment is of course basic, as should be in such a place, but still, the insect-free bedroom, hot water provided clean bathroom adds a lot to the experience. Having your meals at the place is recommended, as it is all prepared a la minute according to your taste, and served on your teracce. Just dont stay here if you usually like huge resorts, nightlife and busy days, as this retreat wont be suitable for you. Our tip is to switch our phone off at least for a day of your stay, but anyway, the wifi issue, mantioned in some previous comments has been resolved. I hope this place stays the same for many years to come! Enjoy.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Rainforest Next! The value for money is incredible—each bungalow is separate and overlooks lush rice fields that blend into the rainforest, creating a truly peaceful and immersive experience. The room itself was comfortable, with a big veranda and a cozy double bed where I fell asleep to the soothing sounds of the jungle. The couple running the place go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels at home. Even though I arrived past midnight, there was no hesitation in preparing a meal for me, which I really appreciated. The next morning, I enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast made exactly to my request. The portions are generous, so if you prefer smaller servings, it might be good to mention it. One of the highlights of my stay was the private rainforest tour with the owner, who is a professional guide. It was such a fun and educational experience—his ability to spot animals is just unreal! After an adventurous day, we returned to a fantastic homecooked meal that was the perfect way to end the evening. Unfortunately, I fell ill overnight, but the care and concern from the hosts made all the difference. They were genuinely worried and made sure I had everything I needed, which I truly appreciated. Overall, Rainforest Next is a hidden gem—beautiful surroundings, wonderful hospitality, and an experience you won’t forget. Highly recommend!

The whole experience was amazing. From the warm welcom through the beautiful room with great view. And Hemel , the owner that is a gifted guide to the rainforest. So kind and nice and at the same time knowlagble and quick to spot every living thing. They are a young couple with a little girl that own and run this amazing g place. The Location is very beautiful, situated in the jungle in a small village. The family was incredibly kind and made our stay feel like home. We had delicious homemade, traditional dinner and breakfast. The house is close to the entrance to Sinharaja Forest and they recommended us a great Guide who spotted lots of animals and showed us many ayurverdic healing plants. I can‘t recommend this place enough :)
