Everything about this property was amazing and well above my expectations. The service was nothing short of incredibly friendly and attentive. In particular, assistance with my luggage and thoughtfulness with regards to flexibility and late check out options was so appreciated. If you’re seeking a quality, yet economical property within close distance to the restaurants of Negombo and easy access to the airport, you simply couldn’t find a better choice than JMF. Beautiful boutique hotel close to the airport (but you’d never know). They had a fairly extensive menu considering this is not a big property and it was delicious. The staff were exceptional and we loved our stay of three nights here. They had complimentary afternoon tea and drinks every afternoon which was a fabulous touch, which you took on the veranda. The kids played croquet on the lawn while we’d have a G&T and then return for a board game with us. Couldn’t have been more perfect.

Brand new property run by a lovely couple who were there to help with anything you needed. They spoke fluent Italian after living there for 20 years. The hotel was designed to a thoughtful high standard. Spacious rooms most with balcony access and large sitting areas in the rooms proximity makes it perfect for families or friends wanting a place to relax. The roof terrace and hotel is tastefully filled with amp plants and lots of areas with the cooler air from the lagoon. A small but welcome swimming pool with seating area and higher room terrace gives you amazing views of the lagoon. There is a bar for your convenience as well. We were the first guests - Absolutely fantastic!
