We loved the beautiful design, the tranquility, the pool and the food. They had kayaks we could use to cross the lagoon to the beach and the views from the resort were amazing. The food in the evening was excellent. Great service. All very good. We took kite surfing lessons at the hotel's kite surf school. sanjeewn and his team at the kite school were brilliant. The centre is well organised with good equipment and the lessons were excellent. We really recommend both the hotel and the kite surf centre enough.

Right at the beach. Perfect location if you want to do some kitesurfing. You can do a downwinder home ;-) Food was delicious, room was clean and big with AC and a fan. Laundry Service. and whatever you ask for… We stayed here for 7 nights and my friend took some kitesurfing lessons. Shawn is a great teacher and also the rest of the crew were super friendly, welcoming and took good care of us. We also left the kitebag at the place to continue our travels and got it sent back to Colombo (for a fee) however what a service :) All in all, we were very satisfied and had an amazing week! Thank you Surfpoint Crew

Very nice place, good welcome from the owner. Room with view and terrace, clean, quiet. I recommend ! Besides, the owner propose Kitesurf lesson. I learnt with him for 3 days, good teacher and kind !

Horizon Resort was a great place to stay. It was low season, and so the hotel was not very busy. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were extremely attentive and kind. The breakfast and evening meals were great. There was plenty of food. The swimming pools were lovely and clean and a good size. The team arranged a dolphin excursion, which was thoroughly enjoyable. I would recommend this resort. Thank you for a fantastic few days' relaxation.

Gorgeous place. Loved the pool surrounded by coconut trees, lovely seating looking out to the marsh/ lagoon. Can walk to the beach from the property but have to walk further on to the nicer parts of the beach. Rooms very tasteful design and amazing outdoor bathroom. Super clean. Food was also incredible. A lot of options and very good quality. Staff were very helpful and lovely. Would definitely come back !

Location is great though its not at the edge of the water but few steps back. The crue is professional and making sure your needs are take care of. Food is absolutely on next level. When I needed a ride to Kalpitiya city, Kalpitiya Lagoon or just a ride to a near by the ATM, I jumped on the back seat of the scooter. Any request wasn't too much for the Scoop Cabana crue. Price wise, it is a great place value per money and I have stayed there for a full month
