A very nice accommodation located near Negombo. I would definitely recommend it to anyone either leaving Sri Lanka or just arriving. It’s a perfect transit point because the accommodation meets European standards – not only in terms of equipment, but also cleanliness, which is on a higher level than what is usually found in Sri Lanka. You won’t miss anything here – and at the same time, you can enjoy the authentic Sri Lankan atmosphere all around (nature, local life, traffic, and friendly people). The place is very clean, the garden and pool are always well-maintained, and everything works (air conditioning, TV, fans, fridge). It has a great location – close to the airport and just 5 minutes by Uber to the beach. The ride to the beach costs only 340 LKR (approximately 1 euro). The owners are truly kind people, and it's easy to communicate with them about anything. There are also two lovely, clean dogs and a cat on the property. The food here is excellent. For lunch and dinner, you can choose from about eight different meals, which change regularly. There is always a choice – from local Sri Lankan dishes (including fresh fish) to European-style meals, so everyone can find something they like. The owners buy fresh ingredients every day.

From the very beginning to the end we felt incredibly good. the food was delicious, the garden and pool were amazing, but the best part of the whole stay was the manager, the owner, and the entire staff. they treated us like princesses and we will remember this stay for a long time. this is how it should looks like, the best accommodation from the whole month-long trip to Sri Lanka!

    I hear from others Negombo was great area for the visitors also it is closer to CMB airport that was the reason I selected there. After I explore the area there are so many nice hotels are there to book and also heard down south area is becoming a good spot for the tourism than Negombo.

    Perfect one/two nights on arrival take a tuktuk tour its worth it and last night before you leave. Negombo is 30 mins to the main SRI Lankan Airport, much close than Colombo. Also all hotels have UK plug sockets which is useful

    Its one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka.

    Its one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka. The food places like Prego, Toro pub, Bamboo Kitchen with Shisha, Rodeo are some of the amazing places. The Browns Beach and the people are amazing and loving. Infact Poruthota road has a SPA CEYLON boutique you can use it for mssage rituals from Luxury Ayurveda. Beautiful coastal lines, fsh markets, churches etc. A must visit.

    Most of the hotels and places to stay are on/near the tourist strip. The city centre is a tuk tuk drive away which is full of local people not many tourists. We did a tuk tuk town tour which was fun and nice to see the sights. We did the boat cruise at muthalajewela marsh lands and negomboo lagoon which was great for seeing birds and animals. We did a cooking class which was a great authentic experience. We walked along the beach which was pleasant but the rubbish is ashame, think the rubbish everywhere is a problem which isn't seen back home. The restaurants have western food and few sri lankan options. We found a food stall at night near the dolphin roundabout which did roti...yum chocolate and banana ones they also sold other sri lankan food. Owner was very welcoming. Not sure how price was charged,think probably tourist price and local price but still cheaper than proper restaurant. Overall great way to introduce the family to Sri Lanka...think a lot of people end there trip here. We bought a dialog sim at the airport so we could use apps for transport...pickme app like uber but sri lankan version and better. Also use uber. Tuk tuks aplenty here. The apps are good so you can put in where you want to go and where to be picked up from. Also sim good for what's app as most people use what's app. There are a number of ATM's some charge to use them..commercial bank was free. There is a larger supermarket down one end of the strip, there are a number of little convience store along the road if one doesn't have what you want another will :) By the time we left we had seen all the tourist things to see and do.

    Negombo Beach is a tourist resort strip. Negombo old town, and markets are worth a visit. Express bus from bus station to Colombo 50 mins instead of 2 hrs . 20 mins from Airport , good for a day or 2.

    We booked this hotel to end our stay in Sri Lanka. The beach facing room was amazing. So nice to hear the waves from the room. We watched the best sun set from the beach a few steps from the room. Location is fab. The room was huge. Pool was lovely. Just need some umbrellas as there’s not much shade around the pool. In the morning there is shade on the grassy areas. Staff are helpful and when the WiFi didn’t work from our room staff came straight away with a booster solved the issue.

    Stayed here the night before leaving Sri Lanka as only 30 mins away from the airport so well located for that. you can also book an airport transfer with the hotel too which is very handy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely pool area to relax at. hotel is located in a quiet area but only a 5-10 mins walk to beach/shops/restaurants etc. Room was spacious and clean - overall a very nice, comfortable stay

    The owner and staff were very nice and helpful. They provided us with information and also organised a transportation for us. The food we had there was the best on our Sri Lanka trip! The location is good - with shops, restaurants, Negombo beach nearby. A good choice for our first night in Sri Lanka.

We had the best coffee in Sri Lanka at the zen café about 100 meters from the hotel. Direct access to the beach.
