Olinda Galle is a small, super charming, very well located hotel just a 20 min from Galle center. The rooms are very spacious and cozy, the baths which were built to incorporate nature are a true privilege experience. The delicious breakfast, served on the terrace area outside of the room is also a highlight . The owner and host is super kind and attentive. Every minute of our stay was truly special. This hotel is, with no doubt, the best hotel in Hikkaduwa (and probably in Sri Lanka) The location is perfect, the rooms are amazing (well organised, incredible views, all the amenities you can need, soft towels, good coffee and tea…), the breakfast is the best one we have had in Sri Lanka (awesome!!!), the pool is fantastic and the staff is the best that the hotel keeps…thanks to Franzi for all the recommendations, attentions and care ❤️). We really didn’t want to come back home 🥹. The relation quality-price can’t be better and I do not understand yet why the hotel just keeps 5 stars! Should be at least 6! Really, the best place in Sri Lanka for relaxing, surfing or enjoying the sun. We will be back as soon as we can Thanks!!!

So, we were 3 friends, and we spent an incredible 8 days in the Temptation. Great location for young people. Lots of tourists, clubs, restaurants and the beach with high waves, excellent for surfing. The staff was great, very kind, helpful, friendly, able, and ready to help with everything you need. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but I guess a little bit small. We took 3 rooms because the price was good and it was great. You can find ants and sometimes some small lizard on the wall, but that was ok for us :D they're not dangerous. I guess it's ok for Sri Lanka weather. Overall it's one of the best hotels nearby in Hikkaduwa. P.S. One of my friends decided to stay for another 7 days, he liked his stay so much
