Our stay at the Summer Will Resort was absolutely delightful. The location between the mango trees, the delicious food and the comfortable room made our holidays very special. The hotel is located in a scenic location bordering a beautiful Paddy field. We were able to reach the place in 10 minutes from the Kurunegala Clock Tower. The tuktuk charged us two dollars for it. The staff welcomed us very warmly and prepared everything we needed. There is a restaurant serving Sri Lankan and Chinese food at affordable prices. They are very tasty. But a bit spicy. They charged us a very reasonable price for the bottle of wine we got at this restaurant, which had both local and foreign liquor. They also provided free laundry service, and they were kind enough not to charge us anything for morning tea. Although there are a few things that need to be improved, we are indebted to them for providing us with a fair and valuable accommodation for the money they charged us.

The property is set amongst a large farm, by a river, set back from the main road The pool was lovely and we were able to watch the birds & bats at sunset from the water and later see the fireflies over the lily pond! The hosts are very friendly, our first home stay experience and they even cooked an evening meal for us which was absolutely delicious - as was breakfast! Our first milk rice in Sri Lanka :) We unfortunately had to leave the following day due to our schedule and they helped us get our tuktuk going and helped me pick a few stones from our tyre tread :) We couldn’t recommend this place enough if you are passing through Kurunegala

I stayed at Lucky’s Oasis for one night and I honestly regret my stay there was so short! It’s a lovely homestay with amazing, heartwarming and caring owners! Lucky helped me with organizing transportation from Maho, main town in the area, to his place and then to go to Yapahuwa the next morning. Also, I asked for the dinner and it was delicious and huge! I think I could eat it for three days 😂 The area itself is calm and quiet, a Sri Lankan countryside so if you want to spend some time in nature and far from crowds of tourists - that’s the best place to go. I want to come back for longer and explore more of this amazing place! Thank you Lucky for your amazing hospitality! 🥰
